Self Destruct

I think That When People Are self-destructing it takes "10 seconds". It takes so much time, So Please Make the timer 5 second.

Another Thing Is That sometimes a friend or teammate help us when we are upside down if we have started the self destruct it cannot be stopped. So please make That: By pressing DEL second time it would stop.

It would be very HELPFUL.

Cancelling self destruction has been suggested many times.

Next time please use search function before creating a topic.

Self-destruction is ok. But despite the penalty points the players hitting the tank must get their points (team battles). At this time you earn nothing if someone is self destructing and that's not fair at all.

It's made to be balanced, so that the 10 second delay is a punishment for your poor tank controlling skills and if you got flipped by an enemy shot - the 10 second delay is a reward for them as during that time your team basically has one less player (because you are helplessly turned over).

 

Your second idea is a duplicate, as said above. Please keep in mind:

  • One topic - one idea. Do not create duplicates of your own ideas.

I would say that when the self-destruct timer has been started please be pressing the DEL button again it would stop, so in-case we get help from somewhere

I agree that a cancel option for Self-Destruct is a practical addition.

 

But not the 5 second timer. I want time to kill those flipped druggers, ya know......

Well it was made to be balanced.. and then the hotbox for the turret came and the higher rank I go the more players I see that can flip hornets "at command".

It was balanced..

10 seconds by "poor tank control" or 5 seconds if hit by a rail hammer or smokey... this would be best

No idea how to differneitate between both cases.. so I vote fo 5seconds for all :p

even though it may be an annoyance to click the SD button only to have someone flip you back, wait the ten seconds, miss out on helping ur team, etc. One of the goals I think was a reason for having a ten second SD was to make players avoid wanting to flip in the first place so gameplay can be more active.
