More beauty for new paints!

Dear TankiOnline team; 

 

After introducing two new turrets, TankiOnline presented some new paints to protect against this new turrets.

It was so necessary and the proposed new paints seem suitable and effective.

Unfortunately, when I have a conversation with other players, they do not encourage me to buy any of them (in particular, Nano, Lumberjack and Africa). They say that the protection will be satisfied you, but you will not like your tank after some hours! Most of them say that Africa is similar to "Tablecloth". They are some other words for other paints that I can not refer them here! Of course, I heard that cheaper paints are more beautiful than expensive paints!

 

Now, I suggest working more on the beauty of this new paints. Note that this is a virtual world and we do not have any restriction. But we need something that be near to real world too. Did you see a tank with paint similar to "Tablecloth"?

For more investigation, just look at Zeus and compare it with Lumberjack! What is your idea? Lumberjack or Zeus (in Beauty)? You know that, we want to earn a paint with more protection and beauty in high ranks with high prices. But this is not true in this new paints. You never buy Bugatti with plastic paint! You can not accept to pay 2 million dollars and receive such ugly thing! Yes, you pay for its power, but surely you consider its beauty too.

 

I would be glad if Tankionline can re-work on the pattern of this new paints and re-design them in more beautiful way. To decide about this, I design the following poll to see positive or negative comments of other players.

Beauty of a paint is subjective to your opinion. It is impossible to have a paint which will please everyone. I, personally like lumberjack and Africa.

Sir + and agree, I played a hundred times Drugger battle with paint Rustle. So 10vs10 Generallissimo all. I destroyed them with my paint and there were enemies with Railgun, Ricochet, Firebird and so on. Today most play with paint Clay, I planned to take one of the new paint or any holding as we know is not satisfactory and that paint does not play a role in the battles because it all depends on the team and the game mode.

It would be great if the whole concept of protective paints was re-worked. Instead of protective paints you would buy protective modules, which you could then install depending on what protections you want. The paints would only be for decoration and would obviously be a lot cheaper than they are now, but more beautiful paints would be more expensive and therefore more exclusive. The only issue with modules is that you won't be able to tell what protections an enemy tank has, whereas now you can look at their paint and decide whether it's a good idea to attack them or not.

Of course, using of new paint depends on your competitor.

surely, you see the 6 vs 6 battle with 6 Vulcan in one team! Can you play without protection?!

As I said, I think  we have to have most attractive and interesting paint with this prices.

Yeah, the protection is good, but how about the Suitability and Beauty?!

This is great idea but probably it can not be implemented in Flash player version of Tanki because of graphical issues.

Probably, we can see hulls and turrets in more details and beauty in Unity version and therefore we can distinguish any protection from appearance of tanks.

I am so excited to see Unity version of Tanki with well-designed environment.

I've looked at these paints In tank viewer, Nano looks great IMO, but Africa and Lumberjack aren't to my liking.

Naw.....I meant SOME wood chips spread out on the paint, with a small chainsaw in the corner......maybe, maybe not. :P

But yeah, Lumberjack just looks dull. I mean, I don't feel fear when I look at it, but I feel apprehension when I look at Spark, Inferno, Alien.......

I am not so professional in programming. I have thought that adding more detail in flash player version can make the online game heavier for servers because of the nature of the Flash games.

However, your idea is great if it is possible for implementation. Of course, I have suggested an idea (I don't know the exact time, probably one years ago!) that tankionline release a package that players can install it on their PC. This will be the future of Tanki. Most highly graphical games use this mode and you can not present high detailed game without it (surely without installation some primaries, the ping and FPS of game will not be stable for full-detailed game). I would be glad if Tanki can use the experience of known companies to introduce some packages to install on various devices.   

However, firstly, we will be patient to see the Unity version.

  You are right, but ordinary users can make only there questions in a poll.

  Of course, this topic can inform to the designers to re-work on some other paints, too.

 Surely the protection is good. But you have to tolerate its appearance.
