All you need to know to go with the amazing Isida (A guide an insights of how to use an isida well)

Hello Tankers! today I am going to be giving you a guide and analyzing the Isida. Let's begin, shall we?

Ok so first before any battle or going how to use this gun, you need to know it's benefits and drawbacks

Benefits:

Heals team mates and gives extra xp and crystals

Best flag capturer

Can self- heal by damaging other tanks

Drawbacks:

Short range

Recharge time (11 seconds at m0)

Bad weapon for camping

You look like a fool trying to reach an enemy using a dictator with your enemy as a wasp.

Now that you know the benefits and drawbacks, let’s have some strategy

Vs. Freeze

Firstly I recommend you to upgrade your turret's rotation speed for this and get an anti-freeze paint as freezes can be really annoying whether the final flag or the gold box worth 5000 crystals, the best way to react to them is get a paint (Lava if you don't want to spend a lot of money or Jaguar if you are wanting firebird and thunder protection too I prefer jaguar it looks cool too. Then you should try to rotate your turret and calm down to try to catch up and kill enemies with freeze. Another strategy is that you push up against your enemy so that he can’t turn around and freeze you

Vs Railgun

Depending on which hull you use, like with a Viking you can get underneath the railgun and then leach, face to face will be a bad idea as you are close to him. If you like me use a hornet simply push the railgun if you are close, it will make him miss if you see the beam charging and are close but can't do anything, just simply push them so their aim is off and kill em in the time you have

Vs Thunder

The strategy here is to try and pin the thunder so he does self-damage as you self-heal, which is a big boost to battle him, it might be helpful to also try to stick to the side of the thunder and take advantage of rotation time to drain them

Vs Ricochet

you need to dodge if you want to live so here a hull like Viking is bad, hornet and wasp for this reason are the better choice due to higher maneuverability and also speed, helping you get to patients or enemies before you die, they don't come so fast so try to move around and live them. You should circle as their turning speed is slow

Vs Isida

Not much strategy other than lift you enemy up or circle him and let him attack first.

Vs shaft

Shaft has slow rotation speed, use your tank and maneuver behind the enemy and drain or you could go under a ledge and push up, simple or just push them off, no one cares and also try to push him over as usually shaft is used with wasp and hornet.

Vs Firebird

Same as freeze

Best matching hulls for different purposes

Wasp: If you are predominantly going to battle enemies circling them and catch enemies with your flag, this combo is only if you can doge everything including a shaft, not for people who want to be useful medics because neither does it have any armor and a medic without armor is dead so no point of such a medic

Hornet: The best combination for anyone, defense, mid, attack anything, if you can name it this can do it, it has enough armor to handle itself remarkable well in any battle and prove to be a useful ally

Hunter: IF you are fine with being 1 shotted by a shaft this is a good choice with a great balance between speed and armor but looks terrible, you can capture flags with it, but it requires a great deal of skill as you need to be able to doge everything shot at you, not so great if you destroy an enemy with your flag a distance away, you will no matter what probably be able to return your flag

Viking: In my opinion the one of the defender best match, nothing can 1 shot you even with double power, it is meant to be used as a defender not for capturing the flag and also with drugs go capture the flag, it will be too easy for you to capture the flag with this combo but defend, you will get tons of xp and points to top the leaderboard. One of the best combos, but you need a whole lot of skill with this

Dictator: Well, here is one that beats em all… in worseness, this can’t reach friends, can’t reach enemies and easy to toss over and looks terrible

Titan: not the greatest unless you are in island ctf, it can’t make it to its allies and dies easily so unless it is an m3 drugged, you won’t benefit much at all

Mammoth: The worst choice unless m3 with nitro as you cannot possibly use this at m0 and you may get 1 or 2 crystals at best

Best useful combos (Universally)

Hornet-Isida

Viking-Isida

Hunter-Isida

Wasp-Isida

Dictator-Isida

Mammoth-Isida (better looking than Titan)

Titan-Isida (Since both are ineffective, I based it off looks)

Gameplay in Rio with Hornet or Viking and Isida for both teams.

CTF:

Blue: This is easy for you, don’t use a flashy paint, there will be a passage when you go near your flag and down the 1st road from where you can enter the beach, just go forward a little and to your right should be a passageway, there what you should do is take it, if you choose the first one you have to take a right turn at the near dead end and climb up, now all the snipers and everyone will try to shoot you ,so place a mine and take a jump roughly 10 meters from where you entered, once you are about to exit the passageway, go to the beach quickly, then take left, go a little straight, and there should be your flag so capture it.

TDM: Stay at base, other foolish isidas, freezes and ricochets not to mention firebirds will come, so you take them, the damage your snipers take you heal them, so thus a defender is a pretty good choice, if you want to be mid, well people aren’t returning with a flag and you aren’t defending or attacking, so no point. If you want to be an attacker here follow the route I told you about in CTF

CP: Not so common, I wouldn’t worry about it if I were you

DM: You need to camouflage here, if not the long range guns will kill you, sneak up on everyone and drain them, never camp because people will make you a target

For red team

CTF: Much harder for you sadly, you should take the route to the beach and follow until you reach the blue fag, then of course you grab it and run, take the second ledge this time because you need to be able to get there without being shot too much, don’t use the other side because you probably won’t be able to steal the flag due to its loneness. As goes for jumping down, chances are you will land on top of an enemy and be shot by others before you can do anything at all.

TDM: This for team red is kindda fun, you could help attack but carefully and sneakily, go from top and ramp yourself down, don’t jump off, go in to the high ground where most snipers aim from and then drain them, it will be most useful this way. For mid again no point, defense is a very beneficial role in TDM due to the fact many guns need to get slightly get close to you too shot, take advantage of that, hide behind the pipes, ramps and ledges, then heal your friends after the enemy does get destroyed

CP: Don’t worry about it it is not common here

DM: Same as for blue team but not ideal.

Gameplay in Silence:

Blue

CTF: Stay back and defend is what I recommend, maybe attack but defense is easy, if you choose to attack, you will be destroyed a lot but still you should then take the tunnel to the left of your base, then explore and quickly get out of there, get the flag from the small passageway and exit from the tunnel and Also set a mine to get rid of pursuers and then quickly go and capture the flag before anything goes wrong, and this is where panic hits, so slowly drive up the ramp and hit the flag on the flag.

TDM: Support attackers here, very few stay back on the blue team because of the fact no one can snipe, most people will attack so help them out. For mid people will try to climb up to destroy you so destroy them, also plant a mine in the tunnels and go to offense, chances are people with a Viking and firebird will come and be destroyed by your mine so good.

CP: Never ever have I seen a single CP in silence.

DM: Don’t do it with this combo

Red

CTF, use the tunnels and go get the flag and before jumping set a mine, to destroy enemies following you. Defense, too many places to defend, not worth the hastle. Mid waste of time because not many people might be coming, no dealing no healing and no crystals or XP. Another idea is hide under the right ramp if you have the enemy flag and your flag is stolen, if a ricochet shows up and uses it’s bounce ability, the best idea is to (this works only when your enemy can’t actually see you or else it won’t) Drop the flag by pressing f, most people just want to return the flag, set a mine, drug up with double damage and wait for them to arrive for you to kill them.

TDM, now defense is the killer of the other ones, stay back and heal the shafts and protect each other from ricochets and thunders and rails. Mid, Not much movement here, use the tunnels, the best plan is to get a bunch of enemies to follow you, have a group of teammates at the other end of the tunnel, also as you go set a mine to kill at least one. Another plan is that you go up the ledge where you self-destruct if you fall off and then secretly infiltrate the base, plan on draining snipers from behind first so that nothing can destroy you, then go for firebirds freeze, hammer and other isidas, and remember long range weapons first.

CP: Although uncommon, best strategy is to hide in a place where you can connect to the control point and remain undetected.

Dm: Do not play dm with this combo

Hope you like it, See you on the battle field.

P.S. my in game name is LOLKILLERTOTHEDEATH.

Great effort and I appreciate all the thought that went into this guide.

I enjoy using Isida/Hunter in Rio and Silence and Isida/Hornet in larger maps. I'd say I adjust my approach in attacking based on the enemy weapons and positions. I also make a point to play defensively, supportively and in an offensive role as appropriate to the flow of the battle. If I find a good and assertive attacker then I'd be there to back them up and I try to be there for the snipers on our team.

I just played Silence CTF with an Isida/Mammoth on our team. They joined half way through, sat on the base and we didn't loose a flag after that. With some support and a little drugging it's a great help in freeing up faster hulls to attack the enemy camp. We were losing badly, and we didn't win but we closed the gap enough that everyone got a decent reward at the end.

I really like to equip with Isida/Hornet and hunt down Shafts. If I can get close then circle around to avoid being fired upon it can be a good kill. Also in some games the Shafts are isolated and unsupported which makes it a little but easier.

the problem with DM is even though you can contribute to a kill, if you're not the one to kill the individual, you don't get the points. Also, Isida can only attack one tank at a time. Thus, using Isida in the first place in a DM match wouldn't put you at an advantage over other players, something you need in a free for all battle. I've been in quite a few DM where an Isida is present and every single time, these players don't tend to do well, even when drugging. If i had to give a tip to any player, it would be to NEVER use Isida in a DM ; use other turrets, such as firebird thunder ricochet freeze, that are better suited for DM. Of course, if you are pretty determined to use Isida in DM, nothing is stopping you from doing so ;)

This should be the replacement for "Don't use this Turret in DM".

Thanks! :)
