New design for hammer

Hammer is OP, and yo guys cant see that. Im just asking for a new design.

 

There should be three sections. Each one shooting 7 pellets, and each one shoots in a different direction. This gun is a shame because shotguns have widespread angles. They dont have long range nor do they have that much damage. They due enough damage to break something apart.

Bro the game designers have already changed the design once, and I don't think they are going to change it again. And as for hammer being OP, it has no use in long to mid range battles. Its made for small maps.

That would actually be an interesting design. Shame it won't be added for the reason stated above...

 

The way I see it is there is a triple barrel and every time you shoot one of the barrels would shoot and then retract back slightly until the reload sequence. The three barrels will spin during reload. That way you will be able to see how many shots the enemy Hammer has left in its barrel and the whole gun will look cooler  ;)

That's what most video games would have you believe. In real life, shotguns are surprisingly accurate, depending on how tight you set the choke (which controls the spread). A shotgun will almost always have less range than a rifle, but most militaries actually set the choke fairly tight, so the ranges we're seeing in Hammer are quite reasonable by real life standards.

 

Individual shotgun pellets are weak, sure, but keep in mind that each shell contains a lot of them. At close range, a shotgun shell can cause far more damage than a rifle round- that's why the Allies used shotguns for storming trenches in WW1. I think it's safe to say that they do more than enough damage to break something apart.

graphics might be a bit to complicated atm although very possible for Unity version.
