Shoot mines

Recommended Posts

no ! never i like mines it is also kinda expensive to defend with it

in that case, you must defend with mines in a different way in order to make your crystals worth it, yes? allows more diverse strategies instead of the same old strategies you see everywhere

Where would you find these mines.

In the enemy base, nearr the flag.

Why does a shafter go to there? Its job isn't taking flag. Its rare...

it can only destroy a mine only if its visible to the scope & the scope will show enemy mines from a distance

How many maps do you see opponent flag from your flag? None of them. Half of the maps, you don't even see the enemy flag from middle of the map.

in most maps u dont see a mine even if you're close to it in maps such as rio monte carlo stadium & highland where u could find shaft players is where this comes useful but rico thunder smoky & twins also could destroy a mine & but it would not be easy

Mines are supposed to be hidden. In order for long-range guns to shoot them, they have to be seen. Now, that means increasing the detection radius, making mines pretty much useless for the person using them.

Now, here is my proposal: When you detect a mine, you are automatically able to "see" that mine at a longer distance until either:

  1. It de-spawns due to mine layer being destroyed.
  2. Someone runs over it, meaning no mine to "see" in the first place. :P
  3. You die.

In team battles, once your teammate sees the mine, you and your other teammates are able to see it until:

  1. It de-spawns due to mine layer being destroyed.
  2. Someone runs over it, meaning no mine to "see" in the first place. :P
  3. Your teammate who "saw" the mine dies.

obviously you dont realize that the team defending with mines realizes the tanker who planted all the mines is very precious to their defense, so they'll do everything they can to keep him alive. including using drugs and whatnot. plus hes probably going to be hiding somewhere where even a shaft cannot see him so how are you going to get to him when theres a minefield in your way and he can just replace blown up mines anytime?

When ever i get angry of those mines

1.i get destroyed by mine to check the tanker who plants it or ask friends.

2.kILL HIM!!!!

"kill him" as if its so easy, like stepping on an ant. -_-

how does it do you any good to know who it is because hes probably hiding somewhere protected by mammoths and isidas

And how many mines can a tank plant? It is a strategy. Some waste their mines earlier and some save them for proper use.It depends on you on which way would you go.

a tanker can plant as many mines as he wants as long as he has enough. and he can use his mines however he wants. but what you said above (the quote) is completely irrelevant to this topic.

And supplies. ;)

Again, this idea might help:

Mines are not for being destroyed,it is for destroying tanks....

One thing can be done, defusing mines....Once we see as many mines in sight, there should be a special button.By holding it for 7 to 10 seconds, all mines in sight are implanted. This will maintain a balance in all turrets ad will add more strategy in game.

Is this your suggestion or idea?Tell you impression properly...if not then do not comment.

I was referring to Carl Johson of Gta with your name. Well, I guess the point flew past you. Try to be less aggressive next time.

DidYouKnowThat says to just "kill the mine layer....not tough at all". Apparently he doesn't realize that there are players ready to replace mines that got blown up. Plus, I doubt you can take out a useful number of mines before you die. Even if you use Mammoth.

Lol. Unless you're playing games without Smart Cooldowns, taking out the Mine layer is very effective, and can be easily done.

Just don't be a reckless noob and charge head on, just begging to get blown up, and used as free points.

When laying a mine, every other drug goes on cooldown I believe. Even health kit, so when he/she places down a mine, then they are vulnerable and can only run. Heavy hulls won't be able to flee effectively, and light hulls have less armor.

Furthermore, when you take out the player, all mines are deactivated. :)

They want to keep adding mines? They start ALL OVER, with one. I'm sure you can

use some skills and avoid ONE mine. Or if placed on a narrow passage, either switch to a ranged gun (and use double power if you want to. Mines are supplies, so why not use yours if you need to?),

or use another path.

The disabling of all mines grants you a window of opportunity in battle to accomplish your goal.

A TDM? Disabling all mines can catch your enemies off guard, as your team storms their base.

A CTF? Get the flag.

And if you want to rely on "eating up" mines, then it can be possible. Maybe a Mammoth and an Isida(s)? :P

there are other players with drugs activated that can kill you before you get to the source player or help protect the player who plants all the mines -_-

Lol. That's why you need to be patient and plan out your attack. Catch your opponent off-guard. You don't need to go charging at your opponent head-on every chance you get.

For example, I have found that Firebird is pretty good if there are many enemies. If you can get to them at the right time, use a Double Power and if they don't die, the after-burn will kill them. Not dead yet? Repeat until they're dead. A couple of deaths is worth clearing out many mines.

Or if you can't get to them, ranged weapons can do the trick. Ricochet, Thunder, and even Railgun on double power. That's one-shot wonder right there. (edit) and HAMMER.

Unless your overall team sucks BAD. Then maybe that's why the enemy is being so much of a hassle?
