self-destruction by mac OS users

I needed much time to understand how i self-distruct when im upside down. By mac keyboard, theres any delete-button, so u have to enter "fn" and backspace. Thats very annoying for beginners so itll be nice if we'll be announced, if we are upside down.

This seems more like a suggestion that the key command to self-destruct for newbie ranks should be added into the game. Given this, I've taken the liberty of moving the topic for you. :) While I'm not a Mac user myself, I think this is a very good, and needed idea.

Oh wait sorry I understood it wrong lol sorry. I thought you meant it as a tip. I didn't understand the "announced" part. You should say, "a pop-up like the current one for newbies who flip except for Mac users".

I didn't know you could do "fn" and bacspace :blink: And I'm a Mac user. I use ctrl+\ ^_^ 

But, yeah, when it says "press delete to self-destruct" it should also say "or ctrl+\"

Doesn't work here, none of these Self-Destruct tabs work for my MAC,  none .  :(

 

Perhaps , it is because I use a MacBook Air, and it is too expensive-trouble  to include some some code to fix this, in this game.

 

IDC, I "rarely" would like to SD at all., as it affects your D/L.

Oh, thats stupid. Its very annoying, i know. Before i knew how to SD, i left everytimes the battle if i were upside-down. And imagine, it happend if i were 1 meter near by a gold box. I had to left and enter the battle again!! Not very nice u know.

 

But did u press fn and backspace at tje same time? U have to push them together.

 

If it dont works then, i dont know why

• Enter a battle
• On the top right corner of the screen there's a "?" button.
• Click it to view all the controls of the game.
• It will show how to self-destruct (As you can see in the pic, it shows [Del] or [Ctrl] + [\])
  • Pic of "?" button and help menu.

Is the problem that it's to complicated? I don't think it is.

That is for you poor Windows users. It doesn't work for MAC.

Maybe Tanki should have a button to click that SDs for you.....but that button can be disabled in the settings for those who can use the keyboard.

I haven't had a virus/lock-up/ or blue screen of death in 5years, Apples ain't stupid. But they are expensive to buy.

 

Ctrl \     - works for slef-destruct, I finally had a chance to try it, I don't use it much.
