Drift

Better idea: changes to physics that make tanks drift more. Not manually, but automatically.

Because people want to turn this game into a Need for Speed thing...  -_-

Haa okay... :D

I don't want. I wasn't making drift in NFS. :) And, my the lightest M2 hull is Dictator, so I would prefer no Drift.

Maybe can be good for light hulls to avoid shots.

@Kayitsiz: You dodge shots with drifting? Cool. :o

I can't seem to do that. Drifting makes it more likely for me to get shot and killed.

That's why I prefer Wasp. Fast and sharp turns make it a pretty deadly, and evasive, ninja.

But drifting is one of the things that make hulls like Hunter or (especially) Hornet special. :P

When you press "Ré while your opponent expected no drift?  ;)

Also, "cyclic" moves makes it hard to see where are it going. More hard for brain

What? Lol.

And eh, I don't think so. Hornets are pretty easy to hit.

Long hull, the turret is right in the middle. And with its drifting, I can easily clip it on the corners with any weapon.

Woa! Great idea! You should post it in Ideas and Suggestions!  :P

(what's wrong with speed? if you don't like it, can always use mammoth...  :) )

Speed, eh? I think that they should make mammoth's speed same as hornet's current speed and increase speed of all other Hulls by same factor.

Then we would be getting Mammoth railgun instead of XP/BP, isn't it?

As of present, certain hulls maintain certain characteristics regarding this sort of a feature. For example; Hornet is renowned for being the light drifting hull, with Hunter coming up in second place to be the medium drifting hull, and if heavy hulls could drift, Titan would. :D Either way, the point is that this is already an aspect that should be taken into account when choosing a hull. Adding affects to the environment based on track movement may be a challenge, but appears to be something that becomes possible with the Unity version of Tanki.

Well, the suggestion is about making ALL hulls drift, meaning that if this is implemented we will end up with a drifting titan and mammoth...
