The way they treat some of them is wrong (factory farms) but if they are treated nicely then im not too fussed

I would only buy factory free meat though

We were talking about honey (:

Oh you wouldn't believe how many people claim to be strict vegetarians, but

when starvation hits hard, all of a sudden everything is justified... and when

the desperation phase is all over, it is almost as if it never happened... yap....

Personally I had way too many bad experiences with extreme vegetarians

(a.k.a vegans, right?) who failed to understand that everybody has the right

to choose what they want to eat, how they want to eat it, and when they

want to eat it. I respect your life choices, you should also respect mine,

otherwise things will be messy... really messy... like the last time during

my first days of college, when somebody out of nowhere decided to slap

my 2 Euro's worth of mega chicken sandwich out of my hands because

she was a vegan sitting next to me, then when I asked why she did it,

she decided to smack me just like parents smack their juvenile brats,

and she ended up with a bloody nose...  Yea, we all have a dark side

and mine was quite strong back in the day, fortunately I think I got it

under control most of the time now... Hense the "Hellion" part of the

username...

I will stick to my wide pallet of flavors, you stick to your veggies if

that's what you want to, and as long as you don't attempt to confiscate

my fork and my kitchen knife, we can co-exist in the same universe...

You must be joking. Of course most (if not all) vegetarians would eat meat if they had to do it to survive XD Maybe you should keep your threatening comments and pointless stories to yourself. (Btw, extreme vegetarians are not called vegans XD Vegans are vegans, vegetarians are vegetarians  - no matter how extreme you are of 1, it doesn't make you the other :')

Lol at threatening, I'm just stating facts, why does everybody have to act

all hostile as soon as someone clashes with their general oppinion? The

point of that statement is that I knew some vegetarians who bragged about

their strict no-meat diet, and then went through that circle I mentioned,

just to keep on bragging afterwards like it never happened... kinda cynical...

Hmm, I thought vegans are just the extreme form of vegetarians, refusing

to eat whatever food is of animal origin, while vegetarians would eat animal

products like milk or cheese, because animals weren't killed to make it.

That in my definition is the extreme version, but thanks for the enlightment

I guess, never really thought much about it until recently...

PS EDIT:

Still, don't trust me to become either of the two, because when I'm hungry

I will eat almost any food my fridge is stocked with, because I tried the

no-meat diet, and that just doesn't provide me with enough energy to get

on with my work on the long run...

XD Ok, just to let you know - I don't know any vegans or vegetarians who brag about their diet (they usually keep quiet about it). It seems like you've just experienced a disrespectful moody bunch of them :P

Seems that way yes...

Unfortunately, I think it has more to do with national mentality than the actual carnivore/vegetarian

clash. Here in the Balkans, people do all sort of weird things just to stand out, being a hyped vegetarian

is also one of those things, so when somebody like that walks into a restaurant, they make sure to say

HARD AND LOUD SO ALMOST EVERYBODY CAN HEAR THEM that they are vegetarians when the

waiter comes around to take their order...

Also, whenever they order food or do anything food-related, you will notice the following pattern:

"I'm buying/getting/using this and this and this, you know, because I'm a vegetarian..."

can i call vegetarians tree huggers/ animal lovers?

they are truly like that for the most part .-.

Well, I love animals but I sure don't have a problem eating

them, so no... animal lovers are not necessarily vegetarians.

Tree huggers are... well... something totally unrelated to

this subject, so you definitely can't put them in the same

category just based on the fact that they love nature...

Plants are also considered as living things. When you get their roots out it hearts them.

Wow

humans r always concerned about their rights but not about animalè rights

Donot animals have the right to live ?

They have one right and thats to enter my mouth.

Also happy to announce that while eating a bacon sandwhich out side a fly came along and was hovering around my sandwhich so I killed him.

Yes an animal has a right to enter my mouth if i pick to kill it and eat it, thats its only right.

Leaches you say, i have the right to stab them then eat them.

Can I take it that you dont use toilet paper? and why do you use a computer is the pollution its causing not helping towards the killing of animals?

Ad-hominem attacks such as 'cry baby' and 'tree hugger' prove absolutely nothing. Not even the slightest.

Aw well, looks like more reason to listen to what Paratrix is saying :33

Plants react to stimuli but do not respond to pain.

There is nothing scientific about this topic i was replying to this :
