Thunder is UP

UP (underpowered). You know what I mean. Thunder is weak. You see something, the fact is that many paints have protection from thunder, and you ruined it like that, so I understand that thunder players have advantage because there are many thunder protection paints which can protect them from self-damage, but that's the problem here, the most used paints are Rustle, Emerald and Cedar, and not just thunder players use them, almost everyone does. Ok now, because of it's self damage thunder cannot fight normal against other turrets, it mostly get screwed and thunder players are not satisfied with it. Everyone complains about other turrets that are OP, but I have never seen that someone complains about thunder. Why? Because it's weak. Now I complain about it, and I shall suggest that thunder's self damage needs to be reduced, thunder isn't better at higher upgrade, it's even worse, as thunder gets upgraded, self-damage gets stronger. Everyone knows for it, and I noticed that players when they see someone with thunder, they gets close to him or her and they do that on purpose, they know that thunder players are easily killed, because of self-damage. Thunder has ok damage, I agree, but come on can you at least reduce it's self damage? It's nerfed totally. Thunder compared with other turrets gets on last place. I calculated. I saw, hammer is on first, thunder is on last. Even hammer m2 is stronger than thunder m3. So let's see: thunder against smoky, there is no way that thunder can win, because smoky is fast, and critical hits happens often. Thunder loses. Now against firebird. It's a short range gun, thunder would get destroyed on first shot. So it loses again. Against twins, there is no way that can beat twins, first twins is unlimited and unbalanced gun, in my opinion twins is OP, and when shooting it shakes you, you can't even aim at it. So thunder loses again. Maybe thunder can beat railgun, but railguns are mostly seen in long range battles, and in long range battles thunder is screwed, it takes ages to kill someone on far distance. In short range battles thunder is also nerfed as everyone gets close to thunder player, and it's pointless to use it. I think that thunder has weakest impact force from all turrets. It has many disadvantages, pls fix it.

 

 

Thunder is OP. It deals damage much faster than railgun. 1 railgun shot, 2 thunder shots and thunder dont need to warm up so its even faster.

Splash damage kills ALOT of players and because of that yestarday i took gold while wasp was above me. I was shooting on wall with DD and got him.

 

I was used to go with railgun but now when i bought thunder, i dont use railgun at all.

Thunder on druggs kills alot of tanks with 1 single shot!

 

Close range its bad for it?

Plant mine and run backwards and it will cause him to die!

I think Thunder is one of the most balanced turrets IG.

 

Smoky is OP, Twins is OP, Rico on druggs is OP, Shaft is OP, Hammer is beast.

Freeze is UP, Railgun is getting UP because it lost impact and cant even help teamates to get on tracks while hammer shoots him far away with some flips.

 

Okay the only downside for thunder m1 is that, if you fall on side with Wasp m1, its impossible to get on tracks. When shooting in ground, you flip from 1 side to another side or even worse but never on tracks.

 

 

Btw on my ranks the best protective paint against thunder is Metalic what protects you 10% meaning for our ranks its even more OP while we have paints against every single turret in the game. Only Twins and thunder dont have good protective paints (20%-30% or more)

Make it M4 and everyone in the battle will cry blood outta their eyes. Altho just M3 can do fairly good till General. After that it needs to be M4 or slightly drugged to get a good outcome. As marshal and above have emerald/clay mostly

don't shoot at 90 degress when flipped with wasp. Shoot at 45 degrees and the splash will do the rest ;) also you have cedar and rustle at your ranks from thunder

Thunder is a bit under powered, jut make the reload a bit faster 

it deals half from the damage what railgun does and reloads twice as fast!

The only reason I believe thunder is UP is because there are paints that give huge protection for it at low ranks, and many of the kits have one of these paints. Almost any kit you see in medium ranks have Thunder protection. 2 kits with Emerald, cmon . . . Emerald used to be rare until those kits were added, now its probably the most used paint

Emerald has always been common, even before the rebalance it was seen in every battle.

The reason I spent money to buy the Bulldozer kit a while ago when I was Major General or so was because when I was a little nublet, I watched M3 Thunder users use it and getting Thunder M3 was my dream. I wanted it because the M3 reload was insane compared to my nub M1. I finally got it and I loved it, until they "rebalanced" it, supposedly "increasing the damage" while increasing the reload time. Before that, I could 2-shot Hornet M3s but now I have to 3-shot them even if they don't have a Thunder paint equipped, and you can imagine how long it would take to kill one with any common paint now with Thunder protection (Emerald, Prodigi, Rustle, etc.). I cannot feel an increase in damage whatsoever but I do feel a significant increase in reload time. My Thunder is almost M3.5 and it barely does anything. Since you can buy M3 at Brigadier you'd need M4 to be able to compete at Commander to Generalissimo. The only thing it's good for now is parkour and that's pretty much it. There is no way to get kills at this rank without Double Damage.

One word: Strategy.

What strategy? You cant use it close up, and you can't use it at ranges. The map where it would be the best is polygon, but it is FILLED with emerald/rustle users, making it obselete. Theres not much otherwise in terms of strategy. It's reload speed is at the awkward in-between where you cant shoot, go behind a building, shoot, and repeat. Along with this, it is useless on the light hulls- they flip so easily.

Emerald has always been common, even before the rebalance it was seen in every battle.

Not half as common as it is now. Now its like 4 or more each battle

Yea last reblanced thunder was really good. Fast reload time and massive splash damage. Compared to this. My thunder is 35/50 mues and can't 2 shot most wasp and hornets, and with he sluggish reload it stinks know with gismos.

Thunder is too OP personally. They drug double power and you have no where to go(Basically a 2x faster reloaded railgun) AND you have splash damage that can kill a lot of tanks with only one shot. If you are not good at thunder normally, just go to Polygon CP and camp with double power and shoot the people at the point.

Thunder was ruined by developer. I had already paid my money for all 50 upgrades when the admin decided to nerf it. I complained and told them what happens in the USA if someone takes something that is not theirs. The devs don't understand the concept of theft.

Ok first off your confusing political matters with matters that concern that of the game, second of all administrators are helpers of the game, they don't have any influence or control over the rebalances that happen every year

 

Thunder wasn't designed to have the same advantages as other turrets, around the time of 2013 and 2014 when the developers boosted thunders reload time and damage, the game became unbalanced, thunder was making all the other turrets look weak, rebalances should have never been done in the first place, it just shifts the power of some turrets to others; i dare not say its theft since you have an option to buy and use other turrets.

They also killed the reload for hammer, if its not m4 i'd say its ineffective to use at generalnissmo ranks, and its painfully hard to kill anyone with a hammer protection paint, compared to using other turrets to kill other tankers using their protection paints

The gun is not underpowered, expesially as it is given so early. But as with any gun its true potential is covered up by protective paints... and thunder paints just happen to be literally everywhere for some reason,.. I'd say thunder paints need a nerf, if thunder protections were swapped with smoky protection people would be arguing smoky is UP.

But you can't buff thunder, it would be a nightmare for people with no thunder paints.

Thunder M3 needs two shots with Hornet M2 and Metallic lol

have i killed you? :D 

cause my thunder need 1.5 shots to kill hornet m2 with metalic :D
