Buying a new Hull or Turret

Your Opinion

  1. 1. Do you think that you should be able to buy M2 or M3 of a weapon directly?

    • Yes, I should be able to buy, if i suit the rank and crystals requirement.

    • No, I would go for the sequence, buying and upgrading

Suppose, when we want to buy an M2 or M3 of any hull or turret, which we dont have already  (so it means that we are not upgrading it) ..then we should be able to buy it directly to the required M..

I mean that it should not be such, that first we have to buy M0, then the M1, then get the M2 and then the M3...if the tanker already has the required amount of crystals and rank required for that particular M of the particular weapon, then why should he waste his crystals in buying M0s and M1s first and then getting it to his required M2 or M3..

This is more in cases, when u want to buy only one Hull or Turret.

For example, say i don't have isida, or i have M0 of it, and want to get M2 (just suppose that i meet the rank and crystal requirements) then i should be able to do it directly...why should i need to buy M1 first?

I think you should just pay the combined amount of crystals and have it directly. Example; You buy the M1 and M2 or M3 as a combined price in order to get the M2 or M3

thats the same thing..it would be wasting ur total amount of crystals spent on M0, M1 and M2 of that weapon..isnt it wastage?

To get an M2 you have to get the pieces of an M1 to complete it. If you just pay for the M2, you just pay for only the pieces that are added to an M1 to get an M2 resulting in having a degraded M2.

no, they give u the whole brand new upgraded weapon..not the part..

have u ever heard that parts of a engine cost more than the combined price of the whole engine...

Edit:

then what when they sell the kits...u get them directly to M1 or M2 or M3....even if u never brought the basic M0 weapon..

exactly...

they can sell the individual hull or turret also the same way...directly to m2 or m3...as per rank..

the only possible way for u to buy hulls & turrets like this is to buy a kit or else u buy it at once in a sale

thats again wastage of crystals for all tankers who do it this way..

Well although the idea seems fitting, upgrades have to be taken in steps. In order for one turret/hull to go to a certain stage, it must pass through anther certain stage etc. etc. Also, sometimes players who can buy the m3 only want to buy the m2 of a certain turret.

How can you be sure of that? Maybe the idea is that you buy the basic model of M0 and then you keep adding new features to the basic M0 to make M1, then M2, then M3. If the M3 "set" is just a bunch of separate parts (new engine, new springs, new wheels, armour plates, wtc.) then you won't have a whole gun if you only buy M3 - you will just have super-advanced parts and no basic shell to attach them to.

Kind of like trying to fit a jet engine inside a propeller-driven monoplane. :P

Or mounting an 88mm cannon on top of a Mark 1 tank.

So can i ask that how do u get M2 or M3 directly when u buy a kit???..

Quite confusing.. :P

basically u just want to pay lesser crystals, which means tanki will become poorer, this form of upgrading has been around since start of tanki, wouldnt be fair to all those players in the past and now, in past kits could be bought too, just accept this

well...this is a point to be noted.....but in tanki, there is always a place for improvement..isn't it?

Very cool Idea, it would save so much money..

But there should be a fee for skipping..

yeah..a nominal fee can be applied, if they wish...

what your trying to say if you can skip modifications lilke when you want m3 or m2 you can skip m1 or m2 but if you want to skip it will cost you you will have to buy the original price and a little extra for skipping mods EX. (you want m3 thunder and you have m1 but dont wanna waste crys on m2 you can click on the m3 modification section in the details, but m3 costs 186,200 and m2 costs 110,500 and you want m3 but dont want to spend the 296700 crys, you will only pay the 186,200 crys with a little extra due to skipping mods will be 200,000 crys)  (ofc you will have to have the rank for that upgrade)
