I think constructive criticism is necessary for someone who wants to write professionally. If all our reporters hear is "awesome article", then anything that they could improve, is not. (I'm not saying that they write bad articles, just that improvements are welcome.)

I cannot let this topic proceed as keeping this open will result in more negativity. I wasn't going to give him a negative response at first. As a matter of fact, I was going to pen down some interesting topics which can help him improve and know the basics of how to write a interview professionally.

 

The posts on the topic changed my mind and my response from neutral took negative shape. Sure you can share your opinion/feedback to anyone the way you like. I'd not even stop you from doing that. Sometimes, however, giving something motivational, therefore to make him improve, is better than giving negative feedback. I only saw a handful of posts in the cause of improvement. Rest are opposite to that.

 

 

As for the OP - I suggest you to head over to our Press section and see how our Reporters team has done it. Every interview they have written are of brilliant quality and are very interesting. If you really are interested and wish to proceed with creating such a topic in the future, then look into the archives and find more articles/interviews and learn the basics of how to write a better interview or any content containing writing creativity.
