GROWING NUMBER OF MULTS

okay so here it is.  there is an ever growing number of players who place mults on the winning team ... they then switch or completely fill a winning team so they start to lose and the cheating side gets the reward...

  easy simple just report right??

no i have never seen a moderator even bother to respond to a report even when the team reports so why bother even have a reporting command.. well to pretend and create a simple sense of preventing cheats...

we in all my games so far not 1 moderator admin has responded so what is the point of  the /vote offender_nickname

i hope you finally decide to act upon this aggravating annoyance by placing a real/votemult offender_nickname where enough votes would automatically remove a inactive player after 5 minutes....

there are countless players with second accounts who simply when pause is nearly over move their tank for ward a bit then begins a long pause of in activeness....

 

START TO FINALLY ACT UPON THIS.... Why would anyone want to play this game if they lose out on winning because of lazy moderator/admin.... Game play is more important to moderate than a simple forum preventing "flood"

I agree on all accounts except a lazy admin. Admin is stretched to the limit and cannot be expected to act on every report they receive. They work very hard to keep the game clean, fun, and fair. And they do a great job. like I said they can't catch everything.

     However I do agree that in the larger battles( mainly ones that last several hours with extremely large funds) there are a growing number of mults and it makes the battle unfair. Something should be done, but it will be hard.

I just barely adressed this topic while talking about something else on this

forum, but I feel it needs to be adressed seriously. Rather than composing

the same responce I will just quote myself right here and then discuss it if

someone is willing to lend a helping hand in solving it.

 

4.) Mults, as in multiple accounts... I never thought much of it, because most games

that tend to take themselves seriously already handled that problem pretty efficiently.

The main process includes tracking player IP's through entry logs, and if some of them

match closely enough (same country, region and city IP code), it signals a red flag and

the staff does a background check. Sometimes those are just two friends living in the

same area or two family members playing in the same router on two computers, so that's

fine, but most of the time, it is a con, and most of the time, those accounts get locked

down, sometimes even permanently. So yes, this can be solved, if the Tanki Online Staff

can be bothered to work on it... No, I personally don't know how these techniques work,

but I have spoken in great detail with people who do (staff on other games I played).

Staff can't be everywhere. Imagine the amount of battles, and now check the number of chat moderators. I doubt hiring more chat moderators would solve the problem. Too complicated. More over, finding a good system anti-mults would probably have more impact.

I fully agdee on you, exept the admin thing. What you mean are chat moderators, they keep the chat clean and likely will come when 4 people do the /vote command. A chat admin is a person who moderates the moderators. He looks over the mods and sometimes keeps the chat clean. Admins a hard job, but get rewarded very wel for that.

I wouldn't say the staff members are lazy or anything... it is just that in life, people suck and they do whatever they can to annoy or threaten other people. So yea, it's not the 'big guys', it is the 'bad guys'...

There is lots of suggesting, but nobody cared. Someone make some other things more important, and others basically didn't care.

 

I don't think there is a fight against multers. If there was, they could take some radical decisions even we had to sacrifice something.

 

Multers have to been banned forewer, also some new kick system may be.

Auto-Tanki video could be with unity.

 

Also, we have to see players statics. Especially their old punisments, such as mult.

Some ınsurances may be...

im not saying admin or mods are lazy in general only on mults and  offenders i never see any results from voting, i do know they watch the forum but it is aggravating when an entire team!  vote them as an offender and no one comes....

maybe an anti-mult system that kicks in when there is a score of under 100 in 10minutes play...

I already mentioned how other games deal with this, so why not follow that example?
There has to be some form of user recognition, and some advanced options to see the

details from which IP's the accounts are being accessed, comparing them and checking

those that stand out by being too similar.

 

If there isn't a logging system implemented already, there really should be one, for tracking

player activities and recording irregularities. Having a game without player logs is downright

irresponcible, you have to keep track of your community in order to find and remove the rogue

element.

 

Before we delve into the details, maybe an admin or a mod versed in this issue could explain

to us what kind of system Tanki Online has to deal with cheaters, because in my book, using

multi's is cheating...

yes but mults stopped me from getting 30k last night a hacker was ther jhe only got 4 gold i got one but mults like in comparison 4k toward 30k

First of all, we know people have multiple accounts because they openly discuss

it during the battle through team chat, sometimes even global chat, you just have

to read between the lines, and sometimes they are so literal you could use their

chatter as clear evidence. Damnit now I really wish I took that screenshot yesterday

when two of my countrymen discussed it in our language on global so literally I just

had to cut in on the banter and confuse the hell of them. One of them even mentioned

half a dozen cracked accounts with higher lever gears, even a couple of passwords.

The other one didn't even know how to change the password on one of those accounts

but his rank was way above mine, so that pretty much says it all... n00b players with

cracked accounts exchanging illegal intel like candy on broad daylight...

 

Second, I will be honest, when I started playing, I actually gave some thought

about using a shortcut and multiplying my crystal count, fortunately I stopped

myself before I crossed the line, but not before I did some research regarding

the subject. As a matter of fact, there are more than a dozen of different cheat

engines and sites specialized in providing unlimited crystals in Tanki Online,

all you need to do is Google it. At first I treated the game as a joke and thought

about using them eventually, but when I started playing, it kinda grew on me so

now I'm really glad I'm going legit :)

Bro believe me..i have not got a single gb since a month...those fly hackers always take it..

And believe it or not...i see about 10 jump hackers on a daily basis...and 90% times, all are warrant off. only....they do that 'jump hack' for fun all time..id.iots..i am even tired of recording their videos...its so iritating..

Omg.... I really hate Mults. I saw a Captain with M0 Rico+Hornet and another captain with M0 Hunter+Thunder. And later on I saw a M1 Smoky+Hornet who was a brigadier rank... So annoying like all i can say is there using it to annoy us or they bought the account.

Maybe you should make some update on rank battles and combo's allowed. So lets say the battle is Captain rank to generalissimo. No M0s only m1s and better...

Moderator appears as a spectator only when many people report about something. Once when a player was not following the XP format when I and my friends wanted to play XP. Many of us complained and BANG! The chat moderator showed up!
