invalid "Gold Box Dropping" Information Banner.

I suggest that a new banner be created for the loading screen that explains how the Gold Box REALLY drops, and how the game drops it.

I, for one, am tired of team mates and newbies just coming in and asking over and over again for Admins or Mods to drop a Gold Box. It hurts team play, and it just creates flood that distracts others.

 

I know this would help because I know most of the people who ask for Golds really don't understand how the system works, and I have had to "explain" on more than 1 occasion.

don't think many pay attention or read the banners shown, like me.

If people ask how it's dropped or ask a mod to drop it probably don't know there is a Forum or a Wiki or a Help site... I doubt they read these banners.

 

However, it might still help some number of people.

Good idea. Considering that the gold box seems to be one of the most valued features of gameplay in Tanki, I think it definitely deserves at least one banner, even if it's not going to be as detailed as you suggest.

I didn't know what a gold box was, until I actually got one at Sergeant :blush:.

This was mostly due to me not knowing about the forum and wiki. Both of these are underutilised by the players. The gold box banner will help most of the player.

It could be like:

"A Gold Box is a special bonus which can drop anytime in a battle. " or something like that.

Yes it gets very annoying when even Gens ask "Admin gold bill pls"  "Admin Gold Box" . It gets really annoying quite quickly.

It is not an integral part of game-play, it's just meant as a 30 second hype and an exiting addition to the game-play, so I'm not sure if the Developers will do that.....

Banners were more of a thing to read while waiting for you battle to load, more than being an info page for newbies. Yet, my little brother always read them weather the battle took long to load or not. He got a lot of info from it, some how. So I'd say it'd be a pretty good idea to make a banner on gold boxes. But how can you fit that much info into one banner? Maybe just write something on the lines of "Gold boxes drop rarely! Play hard to make one fall from the sky!"

Every time the Battle Fund increases, there is a 1/10000 chance for a Gold Box! Play hard and long, and you might get one!

Banners on the loading screen don't have anything to do with lag in the game...
