Banners are not promo videos anyway.....I suppose the faster PCs might be able to handle it, but what's the point? Anyway, lots of people that play Tanki have *write insane number here* lag.

I didn't know what a gold box was, until I actually got one at Sergeant :blush:.
This was mostly due to me not knowing about the forum and wiki. Both of these are underutilised by the players. The gold box banner will help most of the player.
It could be like:
"A Gold Box is a special bonus which can drop anytime in a battle. " or something like that.

This is an essential idea for the game........ i'm sick of hearing the words 'admins', 'drop', 'gold' and 'plz' together.

Newbies remain so ignorant...

 

Let me give you an example of what I'm talking about.

 

I went to a Polygon where 15 players were begging for gold boxes together. I gave them a piece of my mind about how gold boxes are actually dropped, and they called me a 'noob' :P

as any other idea which would be usefull and actually improve gameplay expirience,it will never happen.. +1 from me,but,devs have more important job to do..they need to develop feature which will let us know  (in UNITY) how many goldboxes we got in our careers..garage?..well..who cares about that..it's unimportant..with the rest of numerous great ideas proposed by those who's opinion should matter most..maybe devs haven't heard about them yet..they are actually called PLAYERS :)

I suggest that a new banner be created for the loading screen that explains how the Gold Box REALLY drops, and how the game drops it.

I, for one, am tired of team mates and newbies just coming in and asking over and over again for Admins or Mods to drop a Gold Box. It hurts team play, and it just creates flood that distracts others.

 

I know this would help because I know most of the people who ask for Golds really don't understand how the system works, and I have had to "explain" on more than 1 occasion.

Actually, rarely players read those banners, so if they invent that banner, situation will be the same. I agree, it is annoying when players write: "pls admin gold box" but I ignore those messages, and you should too, you shouldn't care for that.
