invalid "Gold Box Dropping" Information Banner.

I agree, this is a good idea. I'm tired of seeing the same old banners everyday; it would be interesting to add a new one explaining the gold box mechanism. Like deadtoyou, I get very annoyed when players ask "gold bil admin" "admin gold plz" etc. Sometimes I get so annoyed to the point where I tell them to shut up and play. One time during a Polygon CP a gold still hadn't dropped at 10k fund and SOO many players were saying"GOLD ADMIN PLZ" and "mods gold bil" so I pretended to be admin (my friend helped me ;P) and said "i only drop one when players dont ask for it" and kept playing like that. A gold box did eventually drop and I said "there, happy? now stop asking" but nonetheless, players still continued to spam chat with "another gold plz admin".

 

This needs to stop and deadtoyou;s idea would most definitely help or just ban those phrases because they're annoying.

I hope the idea gets seriously considered, and I hope the topic stays alive for discussion. However, I will not be taking a hand in keeping it alive if no one is discussing. :)

 

By the way, I'm starting the think that the origin of "Mods/Admins/Devs drop Gold Boxes" comes from @Godmode_ON. :ph34R: (You know how 3 Gold Boxes drop after he dies, well I think that tankers have started to believe that Mods/Admins/Devs drop Gold Boxes because he drops them and they think he is controlled by the Developers. Tell me what you think.)

I didn't know what a gold box was, until I actually got one at Sergeant :blush:.

This was mostly due to me not knowing about the forum and wiki. Both of these are underutilised by the players. The gold box banner will help most of the player.

It could be like:

"A Gold Box is a special bonus which can drop anytime in a battle. " or something like that.
