Announcement Relaunching of EN Community eSports

As we mentioned earlier we made some changes to the eSports forum.  As you can see we removed the old FreeSport section and subsection in favour of community events and added some new section for the rules and a news section.

 

Community events are paused for now, but as you'll see some of the tournaments that started out before the changes were made are being allowed to come to completion.  In the mean time we'll be working on a new plan for tournament organisers to better help them in making more dynamic and successful events for all.  One of the main complaints about old FreeSport events were lack of prizes from the start.  We'll try to tackle this and set some programme which will guarantee your events a minimum funding provided it meets certain criteria and drastically improve the funding where the even goes beyond expectation.

 

The new set of rules are designed to be global to eSports and flexible enough so organisers need not rewrite new sets each time they make an event or find themselves being tricked by some clever participants trying to play around the rules.  And If it happened we missed out on something, let us know and we'll include it to the set for all to benefit from it

We've also added this news section to keep you guys updated about various events or news concerning eSports.

All Dueling topics are now moved to the Specialists clubs section.  We've also created a Tandem Club section and hope to see as many Tandems as solo duelers in future.  Your feedback about it is greatly appreciated.

 

There hasn't been much changes in the clan section.  We'll tackle that part in a few weeks time once we've finished the other eSports parts.  For now Tier 1 and Tier 2 are locked.  All new clans get created in 1 section.  Once we have a proper plan for clans and their progression we'll start making the changes.

 

As for the new Resources section we aim at filling it with useful material typically used by our eSportsmen as well as useful guides made by you.  We'll even give you some rewards for producing great pieces of work for that section.  More info about that in the coming weeks ;)
