Wait, if you get the 5k Gold Box will you have to take a pic of yourself catching the Gold Box? Or will Tanki moderators know them self (I mean will they know who caught the GB with some system)?

The developers record all gold boxes caught, They will know the person who takes the first gold box, No need for screenshots.

Hmm, this is just my opinion but this is what i believe.

 

Right after the server update this group creates a match. They all join it and wait for gold. And then, the one who catches the first 5,000 one will be the winner. If they are a clan, the people who missed it would probably be so mad at the gold catcher, he or she will  delete them as a friend, and send a request back to the gold catcher. The gold catcher gets so excited, that him or her fell of the chair when the gold fell. If the group was a family, they won't care who gets it because they all will share the prize of the i-pod(the family wants real life prizes rather than in game rewards). After one of them actually gets the gold box, they all just wait for the v-log for the winners. They were so confident that they caught it first, that when they didn't hear their name, they replayed the video many times to check. The others had a giggle and laughed at him/her. The actual winner was a low rank person who was lucky to get the 5,000 gold box when it fell, and caught it without even using supplies. When tanki message them which present they want, he got no idea what they are talking about. As a result, he though he got banned and quit tanki forever. Tanki keep the prizes to them selves, and no one knows who got them. THE END  :lol: 

 

 

For any one who doesn't like a little humor, get this that this was a joke. It is very unlikely for a low rank to get it, with the small battle fund increase but it is still possible. Since the chances are doubled of gold falling, don't listen to silly me. Just good luck. Also if the winner quits, i am sure tanki will give the gift to the second person who caught it right before them. i mean it is a professional game, and they are not selfish.Or are they? xD

Gold box value will be random, so the medium gold box would have about 2550...

But this is just probability... In my case (The unluckiest guy) I will catch a Gold Box with 100 crystals inside :P

90% chance to get a GB valued b/w 100-1000 and a small 10% to get b/w 1000-5000. Moreover the chance decrease because it is not stated that the value will be a multiple of 100 or 1000. So you can catch a 4999 GB but not win ._.
