Going up in the rank... and things get harder... and more expensive!

I've just got promotion to Field Marshall and I always meet Generalissimos in battles.....

I have a Viking railgun maxed (M4) and  usually an  Irbis paint with very little upgrade, providing good protection from Isida, mostly and some from Freeze

 

I thought I could fight at a fairly good rate in the battles but:

• Great majority of Generalissimos use drugs, shield and nuclear
• Even when they don't use the shield my M4 railgun WITH nuclear power DOES NOT kill them even after 2 or three shots 
• This happens with a wide variety of paints, so only few of them are specific for railgun
• If I DON'T use nuclear power I only kill few Wasps here and there and often one hit is not enough...

I'm really frustrated because I see to get points for going up in the rank costs more and more money.... with no significant improvement in success!

 

I think that these MONSTERS are wealthy people that have their paints maxed with a significant money investment!

 

But I'm also convinced that hackers are spread at higher levels too. despite what developers say... tonight I hit TWICE a General (4 stars) Firebird with Hornet with NO shield and I was using nuclear power: still alive!

...and this, even worse, happens too many times...

A system was added recently where you click "play" on the main page and it sends you to the server with most battles for your rank. I suggest you use that and go to EN2, since it lights up in the server list to show that it's the most suitable server: http://tnkscr.net/zBJD0k.png

I can assure you that hackers on high ranks are extreme exceptions. A high rank is very valuable, so true owners won't risk losing it to test a cheat. The only time there would be a hacker at your rank is when the account gets stolen and is used to test cheats, which is highly unlikely as high rank players are very aware of phishing and won't fall for easy traps.

 

What I would suggest to you is to try and use a different gun other than railgun (since rail protection paints are very popular), but more importantly - play team battles. From what you're describing it seems like you only play DM battles where points only come from kills, but if you play team battles you will get points for any damage you deal even if you don't get the kill. It's much easier than DM in that sense - do try it!

Perhaps you are right regarding the weapon: I'll try a Thunder almost M4 that I have in my garage...

Anyway, I play CTF and using more and more money (drugs) to get the points that I used to get in lower ranks is very annoying!

All players' Crystal/Score rate is the same for team games, and after generallissimo, you won't care loses, because you won't worry about ranking with less cry.

I changed to an almost maxed Thunder.

I had also to change to Hornet, faster but weaker, with a Savanna paint, fairly good vs. railguns and ricochet...

Just slightly better!  :(

Unfortunately I keep seeing tanks getting multiple hits from various powerful weapons and still running away with the flag!

The weird thing driving me MAD is WHY they just need to hit me a couple of times or three times at the most to kill me??? (with the shield the situation is better, obviously, but also for the opponenents when they use it!  ;) )

This happens regularly with:

• Hammer: 3 hits from mid range (3 in a row, before I can even reply a second time)
• Railgun: (without Savanna) 2/3 hits depending on the damage power and only one with nuclear
• Shaft: usaully one hit only when intercepted by the beam
• Thunder: 3 hits, sometimes 4
• Smoky (without Savanna): with nuclear 2 o 3 hits, but in general I cannot aim when hit so I'm in his hands and he can finish the job quickly
• Vulcan; these Generalissimos most of time use it with nuclear so.... few seconds only to destroy me!

I don't talk about Freeze and Isida that are usually indistructible since I was a Sergeant!

Also Firebird is very powerful but the damage has another kind of measurement.

 

And I refer to Viking: with the Hornet they just need almost half of the effort!

 

I make great efforts to kill many of the opponents, surely the majority of them, WITHOUT shield:

• 6/7/8 hits with an almost maxed Thunder: 22 out of 25!
• 4/5 hits with a MAXED railgun

And they kill me so easily!

 

Are maxed paints so diffused????

 

We are talking of investments that can be more than 100 euros if done quickly!

 

Are these russian players that wealthy despite all the news about their economy???

Or there are so many arabs that play TOL from their Rolls Royce while the chauffeur is driving them through the desert???

 

It's getting a game for rich people: I understand the developers that are doing a great job but the capitalists even here are showing off their power!

Personally, I don't think railgun viking is a particularly outstanding combination, and certainly isn't the best for drugging with.

 

M4 Thunder is very very strong. It does not take 6/7/8 shots to take out a tank without protection... Put on a double power and you can one shot weak hulls, two shot nearly all medium hulls, and 3 shot even full MUed heavies.

 

Try your thunder viking m4 combination with a suitable paint like emerald for example. If your combination has as much MU as you say, you shouldn't be struggling at all...

Also I think that use high rankers need more crystals when they rank up. I ranked up to this rank and got 22K wow I only need 110K more to buy some m3!

What maps do you play? I've noticed some turrets are better in some maps over others, while some can only be good in some maps once you drug

 

Anyway, i think devs need to make no drug option for battle, this would really help fix the problem

1. railgun need long reload, so you need fast hull to hide behind walls quickly, or you will take several damage before getting covered, compared to hornet.

 

2. viking is good hull with good health, so it will stay in front battle most time, so choose a continuous damage weapon is more useful, smoky, thunder, hummer,

 

3. irbis paint is not so good for your combo, since inbetween 2 railgun shots, a drugging isida can get most the health back, so making irbis makes you few health left, and the isida may run away with half health.

is it me or do battle funds not go up as we rank as upgrade increase price so it takes longer to save and for non buyers this is very difficult

and it seems as though we all get same amout of crystals meaning its UNBALENCED and people then start again because its difficult meaning noobs go against skilled players on new account tanki should fix this

ok for players at lower ranks and i know this for a fact what you need to do is battle and when you get  enough  crystals only buy what you like don`t go crazy and buy a full garage due to the fact most players only use what they like and  when you don`t buy  then you will have crystals further in the game but also don`t upgrade any guns or hulls till you m2 you need to upgrade at m2 and above due to m3 buying is a long way off .. you can rank fast at lower ranks i know i ` ve done it ..

 

in lower ranks you should get  in battles games about any where from 20-50 kills then you can rank fast all the way till your about being a major from this point on you need about 75- 150 kills or about that to rank in two / three days try to stay away from buying drugs its a waste at those level only buy when you get to gold star and higher ..for the lower ranks you can rank in a day as you get higher in two days from about gold star and above it might take a little longer i`m still not there on this account on old one i took my time ...also stick to cap point games and its a must to get a score multiplier  pass this helps a lot and can rank faster then others

 

for paints for lower ranks get one you feel is good protection and then when you get higher get another don`t over buy due to its a waste of crystals ..i do encourage Ibis when you get up on ranks ..then for higher ranks not sure yet i have not tried the new ones this time around my main account do`s have Picasso and its a good paint

 

now what i`m basing it on.. is my journey which i`am on now and so far i battle average time is about 6 - 10 hours per day less on weekends..

i started on March 1st  and now i`am a major and its only April 1st so lets hope i can do the rest lol good luck all

Getting up high in the ranks obviously means to have more chances of playing with high ranks. Supplies are a part of the game. Supplies before were too overpowered due to the fact that players could use three of his main supplies all at once - which, most obviously, results in an unbalanced gameplay. Now that supplies are fixed and players cannot spontaneously drug, one can find ease in destroying the target, or at least damaging greatly.

 

As for the prices - it is not queer for the amount to be fairly high because price ascends as per modification level(more damage, more armor, more abilities; more variety than the previous). In real life we do not see good quality items with low price. Good quality things are of a higher price than that of less quality ones - same is applied in TO. As modification level increases, the quality in the item also increases due to which price is increased.

 

One cannot be certain about cheating as there are loads of reasons for it to be an invalid claim. Cheating appears to be as so for some players due to lags, internet fault(high PINGS, weak connection) as well as the server itself sometimes. Some bugs and glitches result in means of cheating. Sometimes high PING results in 'teleporting' of a tank, and therefore, advantage on the game. Sometimes the FPS drops and results in lags.

Yup, cheating is a "minor" thing... if you say so...

 

Considering there are over a dozen websites who specialized in offering cheat engines specificly for Tanki

Online so you can have unlimited crystals to get whatever you desire, one doesn't need any other kind of

cheating. Personally I couldn't tell you if they work or not, I haven't had the disrespect to try them out, but

the mere fact that so many of them exist speaks for itself...

 

Umm, spontaneosly drugging, no I wouldn't call it that, CONSTANTLY drugging is more like it, why bother having

cooldowns on individual boosters when they are constantly in use, by the time it takes for the effect to expire the

cooldown would have already passed several times...

 

..and even if somebody gets banned, why bother dealing with it when they can instantly get another account and

start again, because the developers are clearly too lazy to implement aditional security into the game...

That quote right there is proof  of how ignorant the developers trully are, not realizing that this number

is blown out of proportion mostly due to multi's created by cheaters who eventually got caught and

Also, devs are actively working against hackers, we just have to be patient

and your nuclear is: double damage ._.

You have the most useless m3 which is railgun. Every weapon is bette then railgun except for e sports PRO battles and some long range battles. Get a different m3!

for m4 -m3 tanks besides upgrading i found that if you don`t have enough  xp then it will hinder your tank so work more on xp games and no drugs you can do it ..i find when you drug sure your tank is stronger but when in battles without drugs your weaker ..so work more on improving your battle games ..when fully upgraded and with drugs plus xp you have a very amazing tank to battle...
