Going up in the rank... and things get harder... and more expensive!

But I'm also convinced that hackers are spread at higher levels too. despite what developers say... tonight I hit TWICE a General (4 stars) Firebird with Hornet with NO shield and I was using nuclear power: still alive!

...and this, even worse, happens too many times...

That happened with me too.

There is/was an issue in the game along with no ability to pick the drops.
The gun looks to its user firing normally but it doesn't. Other players can see that.
The guns in such situation won't do any damage to any tank even to M0s because simply they are not working properly.

Whenever something like that is noticed, reloading the game will help  :)

for m4 -m3 tanks besides upgrading i found that if you don`t have enough  xp then it will hinder your tank so work more on xp games and no drugs you can do it ..i find when you drug sure your tank is stronger but when in battles without drugs your weaker ..so work more on improving your battle games ..when fully upgraded and with drugs plus xp you have a very amazing tank to battle...

It's not about the equipment and it certainly isn't about strategy or experience, the main issue

are those damned druggs and something ABSOLUTELY has to be done about it. When

I started playing, I rather enjoyed the game, but now that I actually reached a decent rank,

the game has become utterly frustrating and more of an endurance test than ANYTHING

I have ever played. Those who play cheap get rewarded more and those who try to play

fair end up plastered over the floor...

First of all, the main variable that decides whether you win or lose is the mentality of your

teammates, and 90% of my battles I lose because I'm teamed with Rambo wannabes who

keep rushing the enemy base with no rhyme or reason. Strategy? I've seen better strategies

and cohesion in a stampedo of sheeps jumping under a passing train, most players in Tanki

can be officially considered braindead when talking about strategy. What's the point of trying

to devise a strategy and "improve your battle play" when you have nobody to back you up,

and in Tanki Online, unlike many other games where you can deal with multiple enemies,

you can never directly confront more than one enemy at a time and live to tell the tale,

as soon as it's 2v1, you are screwed either way, unless you are a drugger...

That's what mostly happens, the braindead just rush the enemy base, and those who

decide to try using strategy end up being ganged upon because they tried otherwise.

Second, the main reason why nobody uses strategy is because you can always win

using sheer force through drugs. Personally, I think whoever invented these boosters

deserves to burn in hell for all eternity with the Devil's pitchfork stuck in his... behind...

There isn't a single battle where the experience isn't ruined by druggers, even if you

are winning most of the time, it doesn't take more than 5 minutes for the druggers to

flip the score, simply because they can and there is nothing you can do about it.

The higher your rank, the more this game becomes a chore and an endurance test,

because the more you delve into it, the worse it becomes, and for some reason I still

keep on playing it because I can feel that there is a decent game burried under all

of this crap...

Third, this game has become a pay-to-win game and there is no point discussing it,

because it's obvious that those of us who aren't willing to fork out the money for

drugs end up just steamrolled by those that do. You people don't want to get rid

of your paying customers, fine... then just provide a single server for those of us

who are unable to constantly drug like addicts so we can have fun...

I still think the game is about skills and coordination, rather than drugs. If at least half of your team work together in a battle, you'll win - drugs or not. Drugs can't save you if your skill is really bad. In 2 vs 1 situations, I usually try to hide until one of them lose interest and I pop out to wipe both of them off. If not then, I try to fight till the end and have my team member finish them off to gain XP.

Nowadays, there's too many 'fixed' battles which lures tankers into a false sense of security. First 45 mins it's fun and games, and the last 15 mins, enemies power up and suddenly your 'team members' disappear. <_<

Druggers - People who don't have the time to invest in tanki and are probably working... They'll probably won't perform well in NSB unless they have been playing a long time.

In the end, this topic will be probably merged with this one:

http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=246957&hl=

because the only reason why we have such a difficulty spike

to deal with are the drugs... and none other...

Yes, strategy is present in the game, sadly the most common example is:

1.) Use all three (four) drugs on yourself,

2.) Find someone on your team who just did the same,

3.) Flood the enemy spawn and don't let them breathe,

4.) ...

5.) Victorious...

No matter which rank I engage, when I see those icons flash from

nowhere under their username, I only wish I could jump into the screen

and strangle them with my bare hands, because there is NOTHING you

can do to change your situation. It doesn't matter which turret the enemy

is using, when they are drugged they are impossible to deal with directly,

the only realible way you can take a drugger out is when he focuses on

somebody else and gives you a window of opportunity to attack him freely.

The extreme example of how overpowering drugs are is the situation

when you engage someone in close combat, you hit them several times

and you expect them to blow up any second, but then you see that green

wrench flickering and can already hear the enemy saying: "Nice try, Buster,

but I've got bigger fish to fry than you... boom... BYEEE!"

That repair booster needs to be the first thing that's removed from the game,

because THAT THING ALONE is the main reason why the game is so hard,

because it makes the druggers practicaly invulnerable aganst anyone who

isn't a drugger himself. It is acceptable to engage an overpowered opponent

because it is possible to wear him out or outsmart him, but engaging an immortal

one, that's just downright pointless no matter how skilled you are...

I play with an Isida, so I personally know how overpowering these drugs

can be. When I pick up all three of them, I can simply jump into the

enemy base and insta-drain anyone with a Wasp, Hornet or a Hunter,

making me the ultimate light tank predator. The main problem is that

it is pretty addicting to temporarily feel superior to anyone around you,

and that is probably why most druggers do it... and if I didn't know better,

I would say "somebody" (*cough) is exploiting this for their own benefit...

Yes, I agree that some players have full-time jobs and can't play the

game that often, I'm one of them, but that is no excuse for having drugs.

We all know what the main excuse is, to provide any player with an immediate

godlike sensation for just a small monetary compensation (wow that rhymes).

In most multiplayer games you will come across "powerleveling", a familiar situation

when a high-level player is helping along a low-level player to level up several

times faster than he ordinarily would be able to. That kind of system DOESN'T

exist in Tanki, but if it was included, I can guarantee it would improve the game.

At this current moment, the only powerleveling we have in Tanki is:

"You want win yes... You buy supply, use many many supply, and

you win... yes yes..."

Fine, drugs can't be removed because developers need to have some sort of

reliable income to keep the game, and themselves, alive, but something

SERIOUSLY needs to be done about them to make them less overpowered.

Adding a cooldown that makes it impossible for the same drug to be used

immediately after the first effect expires would help, because it would stop

people who are instantly drugging up as soon as they see someone coming

their way... For example, if the drug lasts 30 seconds, after it expires, that

exactly same drug can't be used in the next 30 seconds...

Well, Gismos receive many supplies in daily bonuses, so it's no surprise they're drugging 24/7.

As to your dilemma about the trouble killing other tankers, they might have used a first aid or got healed by a teammate, or you must have been lagging.

I hate druggers but now I use drugs too almost everytime I respawn. This is because in almost every battle I joined got at least 1 hardcore drugger who immediately use drugs the moment they respawn. So i gave up, I'd just use whatever supplies I have from daily gift and stop playing when runs out of them. You'll feel better if you see it this way that you're beating the hardcore crystal-buying druggers with FREE drugs! :D
