Most of you have a pretty good understanding of how to be a good teammate or a respected opponent in the many battles that we play in, but it's apparent that not everybody knows how you're expected to act on the battlefield. This guide is here to lay down some ground rules that should generally be followed in-game, and it might come in handy for newbies or people who aren't well versed on them.

Teammates are very important; even if you're a one-man-army, you can't be everywhere at once, and you won't be able to win against a well-organized enemy team. Because of this, it can be especially frustrating when a teammate isn't following expected conventions.

General guidelines:

  • Don't take health boxes if there's a damaged teammate nearby and you don't need it, Something similar to this is when teammates with almost zero health decide to take a Double Armor, as is they could do anything with it.
  • Try not to push friendly Shafts. Somebody even flipped me a lot when sniping in one battle. Then he got in my way of sniping so I flipped him back  He stopped flipping me after that ^_^
  •  don't push friendly Railguns either Messed up my aim so many times
  • Don't try to block your team's flag carrier in CTFs. I don't even get why people do this, given the reasons you mentioned.
  • Try not to block the rest of your team either. This got in the way of several of my flag captures, ruining most -_-
  • Support teammates who need help. Agreed, it is frustrating when they don't support you.
  • Don't be a mult or saboteur. So many battles ruined by them -_- And they never seem to be on the enemy team

Isidas:

Agreed with all the things you said here, I hate it when isidas don't heal me.

Overall, thank you so much for this guide! It's really annoying when none of your teammates know any of this stuff!

If you are using Ricochet, turn your turret. ;)

Lol, but so true, especially if you are using it on a hornet, and I DON¨T CARE IF YOU ARE A NOOB. turn you turret, you will also become better.

Not enough people are going to read this guide.

Every team I play with has people who screw up my Rail shots, block me while capping flags, or waiting me to damage someone just so they can get the kill.

Great article!  If only more players digested these kinds of articles, especially spoiled teammates.  I just recently came from CTF where one such spoiled brat refused to cover me as I was about to cap; consequently, enemy tankers returned their flag.  I was later infuriated when the spoiled player blatantly explained that I took "his" flag.  Even more appalling, when I asked him if he would block his own teammate's basketball shot, he shamelessly said "yes".  I gave up and said, "Fine, I won't waste your time.  Teamwork, not "Me"work, wins games.  You'll see later on whether I'm right or wrong" (or something like that); when he responded an immature "go to hell", I simply said, "k :)".

Spoiled brats...   <_<  <_<  <_<  <_<  <_<
