there is a little problem wich i find very frustrating ( awwww i wish i knew russian =/) that is in battle my Russian team mates are messaging vital stuff like Protect the flag or watch out but i don't understand them cuz their russian and vise versa . So i wish there were some sets of universal tanki online commands for different situations which people of both languages could understand

 

ex:- put a set of code words which anyone could understand

PTF ( protect the flag)

DSP (defend spawn point)

LF/RF (left flank / right flank)

 

give me some more ideas too

yeah, it isn't that big of a deal for most players as of right now, but seeing how the game is targeting an international audience, some way of communicating would be nice. The most logical way to go about this seems to adpot a quick-message system with presets (like in Counter-Strike, for example) that will display in different languages for different players (depending on what locale of the game they are using).

Yeah, I only understand 2 words in Russian (both learned since joining :mrgreen: ), that would be "Thank you" and "Samberg". I enjoy the game a lot, but sometimes when I see my teammates saying my name, I really feel bad because I have no idea what they're asking me to do. A set of common quick-messages would be great.

It would be much better to have say a commander in the battle either first in or highest rank, who could click icons (press KEYS) on the screen for the which show up in the teams window, as images are international , you could have a set for defend and attack, also you could have a warning icon that anyone could click to show where others are comming from ,say we were bing flanked on the right and i saw it i could click it and everyone would know

if am not wrong it was in the tanki 2.0 plan to have an automatic text translator powered by google translate. but "quick-message system with presets like in counter strike" could be a start and might be relatively easy to implement. anyway, should u need translators, am willing to help with english n french
