More Tanki held battle tournaments

The most popular tournaments so far and probably the only tournaments where tanki pays big is star series and various other clan tournaments, and all the players are mainly generalissimo's. I'm sure that there are many other talented players but are not gens and... Clan tournaments may not be their main area, some do not care about clans or simply do not want to join one (Such as myself)

 

Well, like other games have done, why not host other multiple tournaments?

 

DM tournaments

 

Anyone from brigadier to generalissimo can enter

 

Like battles, each of the players are split into groups that suit their rank 

 

An example could be

 

Brigadier to General

Marshal to Generalissimo 

 

       .  Like clan tournaments, certain hulls and turrets are allowed when participating in the tournament (perhaps more turrets/hulls that aren't allowed in clan tournaments?)

       .  Players compete with each other in tournament format; players with most kills move up, players with less kills gets knocked out (since it is single play)

       .  Top players of the 2 groups which advance to the end of the series wins the prize, or a special paint maybe?

       .  Players who beat the winners of the former tournament wins their paint

 

Of course this follows the format of clan tournaments, there could be 1st 2nd and 3rd prizes, no supplies allowed, just normal play

 

 

Team death battle tournaments

 

This one could require you to be in clan, i was thinking it could also be random, where as the top 4 players of each TDM advances up to join with other top players and so on...

 

Again there are two options

 

Clan TDM tournaments

 

        . Clans compete with each other and advance up in the tournament; it can be based on points or knockout

        . This tournament follows normal clan format

        . Players can be split into groups that suit their rank

        . Winners receive their prize, if defeated they lose their paint etc

 

Single play TDM tournaments

 

Players that join will be put into random teams, this is about team effort and how good they can play

 

      . Top 3 players of the winning team advances

      . Top player of the losing team also advances (depending on how good they performed) 

      . Each of the players that advance get matched into random teams

      . Players eventually get knocked out until it is 4 vs 4, 2 vs 2 and finally 1 vs 1 

      . Winners get their prizes (1st 2nd and 3rd)

eSports would hold these tournaments because it's clan vs clan.

The problem with making random teams is sometimes, if not most times, your team-mates or competitors are unreliable :/

i have held 1 dm tournament and it went well

team deathmatch's are rarely played so that would be hard

i also tried a control points tandem but that didn't work out well

but still players with m3 equipment has a good chance of winning as they could have M4's unlike a brigadier who might have thunder m3

Which is why certain equipment can be restricted when entering the tournament; and there can be seperate winners for their ranks, its the same scenario for star series, some have m4's some don't
