I don't know if you know this, but Tanki is a young project and is still in development phase. The discounts and contests are marketing techniques to keep players interested in game. The Developers need to find a perfect balance for number of sales given. Too many sales will cost them their income as there will be no need to buy any crystals. Too less sales will cost them players as it will become impossible to earn crystals and buy enough equipment. Hence, we have seen a change in frequency of sales and events like double battle funds over a past few months.

Winners of contests will always be less. As I said before, if you are losing contents, then improve yourself. I still find many ways of earning crystals like contests in Press section. I agree that number of official contests need to be increased, but I guess development of unity version is giving them less time to organise such contests. If you need crystals, then play. Play PRO battles which give you big rewards.

I can't always play a lot to earn crystals, I'm bothered by something, called real life. I mostly play PRO battles, but they don't give you bigger rewards than the normal drug wars. In fact, it might be the other way round because in drug wars, you use supplies and the pace of the game is faster - more kills and more caps.

To those who say that we should just save up for kits.

 

It takes ages to save up 500k for the new kit at Generalissimo. Like who saves up 500k anymore. What makes the problem worst is that in order to gain crystals now, you have to have time to invest into a one hour battle with no guarantee of even getting 500 crystals. Many a time i earn 5k score in a battle and because of real life i have to leave... leaving me with nothing to show for those 2-3 hours other that 5k xp which is useless at my rank :/

 

Most of the recent updates only advantage buyers which isn't fair to the entire community of tankers.

Buying kits make the game more interesting , and encourage players to get on higher ranks to buy the same turret/hull , and also will make the battles more challenging. 

when you buy as you said the mosquito kit (wasp/rail M2) , it will give the players that can't play every day to reach the colonel rank a chance to try wasp m2 :) its really nice thing. 

Lol not everyone has the actually money to spend on the game. And I love how you try to make a kinda negative thing in the view of the players and making it positive. Its like your saying "oh its ok to buy kits because it makes the game more interesting. Just use your credit card and vola! You have an advantage." Almost like a robot just giving away fixed responses how Tanki wants it. And please don't ban me

I don't know why people support kits. Its funny how the mods always supports kits, even though the only purpose is for us the players to empty our wallets and give players an advantage for a couple of ranks. They try to make something bad look good, with there "expert advice" because of the title and # of posts they have. Tanki is a business in a capitalistic market putting making money over player satisfaction most of the time!!!

dude remember those really easy contest the one wher you have to screenshot specific items on maps and get a pretty cool reward. It was really easy and totally cool! Just take a peek. We want those type of contests!

For example, I bought M3 Mammuth and m3 Twins Prodigi Taiga kit (449 000 crystals) without buying any crystals, it has been really difficoult for me, but when finally I got that kit I felt so good ;)

So in conclusion, I think that every game encourage buyers, but if you're a "pro" you can compete with them :)

What the **** is this **** Tanki!!!!!!! Sorry for my language but Thunder m3 at ****ing major?!?!?!?!!? IS THIS A BALANCED GAME!?!?!?! I couldn't believe my eyes. These are worse then the kits from before and the kits from before are wayy better because they came with suplies and paints with higher discounts. But seriusly a m3 at major?!?!?! 4- also don't forget those players that doesn't play daily and can't rank up fast they get fair chance to try hulls/turrets before the specifique rank (they buy and enjoy).

It's not a fair chance, a fair chance would be if everyone could buy it from one specific rank. Besides, not being able to play much should mean you get to have equipment earlier on? Doesn't Tanki want people to play more? You can stimulate people to play by offering equipment at a higher rank (too high will be discouraging), offering it at a lower rank, won't make these players play more.

 

4. If someone plays a lot, then he doesn't need to buy at all, since crystals earn from battle funds are more than enough to buy good equipment at one's rank. Buyers are usually people who can't play a lot and want to have the best equipment anyway. The Game is not perfectly balanced and it shouldn't be. If everyone is equally powerful, then all games would become boring. A slight imbalance in power is exciting and unpredictable.

You know what happens to your account if you don't play much? You receive daily bonusses, but you don't spend them. You can benefit from all kinds of events Tanki organises to receive free crystals (like twitter contests, vk crystals and quizzes). This means you will have a lot of crystals while you're still a low(er) rank. So it's actually easier to get good equipment for your rank if you play less. All my alts are the perfect example of that.

Yes, that's what I'm using currently. It's a good kit. However at higher ranks, good battles are fairly limited, and one might need to fight higher ranks from time to time,  From to  , so I think the extra power comes in handy for a while. Such good luck of fighting lower ranks doesn't come often.

 

Meanwhile, the s will have to deal with  ...

New kits were meant to balance the game so people didnt have equipment way before thier rank. Now you can get Thunder M3 at Colonel, Wasp m2 at third leittenant and Rail m3 at major general.

Yea man back than you could buy all things at your rank without ranking fast.

 

Now in order to have many crystal, you have to play a lot means faster ranks and low equipment.

 

I miss crystals boxes,but tanki increased ther value on purpose.

 

They knew that when  they will increase their value to 100,every one will be a mult,and surprisingly,there was doublr battle fund on the day when value was changed.So they knew there will be more  mults and they will be make it excuse and take them out.

 

And too all players ( i dont want to meantion their named,but you could say who are greedy for cry by becoming mods,not all though,and some stupids mods who always support devs with closed eyes) who say that they were producing mults,then why they dont play pro battle and disable cry boxes.

 

And when we complain about the drugs,those stupid people hungry for cry by becoming mod come and say why you dont play pro battle? 

 

So my quetion is, if players were tired of saboteurs, why dont they play pro battle (espacially those stupid people who always say cry boxes were producing mults).
