Do your pancakes always come out thick and lumpy? Are you still searching for the perfect batter mix? This four-step foolproof guide serves up tasty pancakes for Shrove Tuesday, brunch and beyond...

Step-by-step guide to making perfect pancakes:
step-1.jpgStep one:

Mix the batter ingredients with a whisk until smooth and lump free.

Step two:

The batter should be the consistency of double cream. If the batter thickens while standing, add a little extra milk, stirring until you have the correct thickness.

step3_3.jpg Step three:

When the pan is hot, wipe it with oiled kitchen paper. Pour half a ladle of batter into the centre, quickly swirl the pan around to spread the batter over the pan in a thin and even layer, then pour any excess into a jug. Cook for 1 min, or until golden and ready to flip.

step4_2.jpg Step four:

To flip the pancakes, ease a fish slice under it, then in one swift movement, flip the pancake over. Continue cooking for 1 min more until golden.

U can also make the batter in a ketchup bottle so instead of making a mess when pouring the batter, you can just squirt it out, forming that perfect circle :)

This guide was absolutely amazing and the phrasing of sentence structure yet using everyday words was astounding. Do one on how to cook human flesh please!!

I thought that this Guide would be bad and down votes so I posted on my alt. I know that sounds weird but I don't want to create topics in Darren's account because I want to take a break from creating Topics  :D

Yes, the first time I actually met Darren was when I was at applebees and I accidentally downvoted his topic. He pm'd me once saying/demanding why I had down-voted his topic. I deleted it he pm'd me again and I said that it was because I was on my phone. He sent my two  :( and three  So yes he is sensitive to down-votes. Also, why create a topic that you know is bad. You deserve the down-votes if that is what you are planning on doing.
