what happened to Double Crystal card?

So... I've been playing for a few months now, and the double crystal card appeared at least once a week, often twice a week, with great regularity. As this game is fairly expensive, I usually waited for the DCC to spend my $$.

For the last couple of weeks, I have not seen it appear, and wonder why (other than the obvious reason that it forces the hard core Must Have It types to spend more money).

Come on Tanki Devs, let's see a regular return of the DCC, at least once a week!

I've spend over $300 on this game so far, mostly buying the Double Crystal card, but if you're gonna get cheap and not make it worth my while, then I'm going to go find another game to spend my $$ on.

The reality is, what we get for the money we spend isn't a very good value to begin with (my tank isn't that fast or strong for the $$ I've put into it), and making the DDC scarce is just poor business: it's not like it actually costs you anything to give us something of relative value, so don't fall victim to GREED and risk losing paying customers:

Here in Canada, it costs more (with the exchange rates) to buy crystals, so we don't get very good value for our dollar to begin with. If you make the DDC available more often, I'll spend my $$ more often: if it gets scarce, so will my $$, so do the math and decide for yourself if you want to get my $$, or lose it.

Getting a daily bonus is based on a probability program. What you get might or might not appear the next day. Take me for example, I have been getting a DCC for past 22 days.

Though DC card logic wasn't changed for years, this kind of players attitude makes you wonder...

I Have A Great Idea : Have Our Tanki Settings Where We Could Select Or Deselect DCC .
More Explained :
If You Tick The DCC Box , It Will Come Randomly In Daily Bonus .
If You Untick It : It Never Comes Until Ticked , Instead Of DCC Any Other Gift Wil Come .

No The Selection Of the Box Doen't Meant That It Comes The Next Day .

It comes On Random (For Buyers), If the Box Is Unticked It Never comes (For Non-buyers)

Again, this is not following the idea of DC card.

Hazel, could you make the system a bit less random?

 

Two years ago I received the DCC on 21 days out of 30 in November. It was probably one of the most frustrating experiences I've ever had with Tanki. Yet sometimes that bonus doesn't come up for ages, like in the case explained above.

 

Could you make it so that the chance of a certain bonus coming up depends on when it happened last? So if you got a certain type of supply on one day, then getting the same supply (or other gift) on the next day would be low and the chance would gradually increase with every day when you don't get that bonus.

 

But then again - Dalily Challenges will replace daily gifts soon, so does it even matter?  :)  And, since it has come to this - will the DCC be part of the Daily Challenge rewards or will it be a random bonus given to players every now and then?

The double crystal card should be kept at random, its a bonus, and should not be taken as a non compulsive measure to buying, besides tanki is very generous to give double crystal cards, that makes this game cheaper than the others

I once had to wait 11 days to get a DCC to spend my €35 paysafecard to buy a kit...But when I don't want to buy,I get it everyday ;-;

So I mailed help@tanki,and told them if they could give me a DCC,they rejected,but guess what,the next day I had a DCC as daily bonus :lol:

Might want to try this out too :P

I got DCC every another day. already used to it. -_-

 

Supply - DCC - Supply - DCC - Supply - DCC - Supply - DCC - Supply - DCC - ......

 

(that is because I have pro pass, or it will be supply - pro pass 1 day - DCC cycle)

Like I said, I've only been playing for a few months, and am only familiar with the regularity of the DCC's appearance since I've been playing.

And, I'm not "hating" on anyone, just stating a simple suggestion: this game IS one of the most expensive games I've ever played, 

not even factoring in the exchange rates for us Canadians ($20 crystal package costs me $26+). 

Also, there's the issue of players who hate supplies and their users("drugs" & "drug users") who are forced to BUY Pro Passes in order to play in a drug free environment...  

I am a small business owner, so am familiar with sound business practices: if the customer doesn't feel they're getting reasonable value,

they will take their dollars somewhere else.

Tanki is a fun and very addictive game, but can be expensive. I would hazard a guess that at least 75% of the players are adolescents with a fixed allowance, and don't spend $20+/week on this game like I do (on average).

As I mentioned I usually spend my $$ when the DCC appears, so it follows that the more often it appears, the more often I'll spend $$.

Since the DDC has been scarce, I have spent less than 50% of what I usually would, and I imagine that I'm not the only one.

As a result, Tanki has been losing revenue (again, it costs them nothing to drop DCC, so the revenue generated is pure profit).

It should be given to everybody.

What is this supposed to mean? What if not everybody wants the card? What if they are the ones who choose to earn their tanks with effort rather than money, then the DCC card is not necessary for them. Why should they be given something they'll never use, and waste a daily bonus that could have actually been put to use? Some clarification here would be great.

What is your point? Supply the double crystal card more often, you are not thinking about the people that receive them daily and do not need them.... This game is not expensive, please take it from me, it runs on a single currency and offers bonuses that can double the monetary value of what you are buying, please name any other mmo game that gives you that opportunity

There's no such thing as "wasting" the daily bonus. It's a bonus and you don't put in any effort into earning it (other than logging in), so you don't lose anything if the bonus isn't something you need.
