I read that tanki team dont celebrating religius holiday. its so bad decision that tanki wo`nt celebrate greatest holiday Easter. if easter isnt celebrating, they mustnt celebrate also christmas and it will be so boring.

I'm not a religious guy in any aspect, but trying to get sales and discounts and masking it by asking to celebrate religious holidays only shows how much you care and respect them.

We don't celebrate Christmas, we celebrate new year, which is not religious. And religious holidays are not celebrated, because, people with different believes might be uncomfortable with, which might cause some problems. So, it's better not to celebrate such holidays.

Celebrating religious holidays will be too chaotic. Many holidays will overlap with each other and Whatnot... The answer is a definite 'No'. Tanki has never celebrated a holiday local to a particular region/religion nor it ever will.

I am confident that Tanki wants to keep itself secular. There are a lot of religions with different views and special occasions... cherry-picking out some of them would just be unfair. At least they allow discussion of certain observances in the forum. 

 

Tanki celebrates some, but not all, Russian holidays and observances, Some of them belong to general interest, such as New Year's, so I do not think that their actions are 100% unfair.

 

I personally do not follow any religion, so their decision of keeping things secular is fine to me (:

If these days are so important for you, I'm sure you can find a way to celebrate it without spending your time playing Tanki.

I'm Jewish, and I don't mind that Tanki doesn't celebrate religious holidays. Why? Because all religious holidays (or at least Jewish holidays) are all close to the ones Tanki celebrates. It's a nice idea, but not going to happen, Semyon already said so.
