Has it ever happened to you when a teammate purposely flips you over so that they could get the flag and all the glory and points associated with it? I'm proposing and idea where they must return the flag to you after you respawn, because who likes you going through all the enemies and then flipping, and the teammate gets massive points for just happening to be near the flag? Maybe so that the teammate can't capture it, but in a struggle, you could press f to grant ownership of the flag to the teammate, but if you lost the flag right when you got it from the base, ownership will be given to the one who travels the farthest with the flag. Thanks, and please comment, and point out weaknesses in my proposition.

This would be a great addition to prevent sabotage amongst teams, but a system would have to be developed in order for the server to detect that a player flipped his own teammate. The only thing comparable to this that is already in the game is the anti-cheat, which has been known to be a bit too sensitive. Someone more skilled in coding may be able to enlighten you on that aspect. Would be beneficial in order to reduce the necessity of a moderators eye and ensure players are honest.

Just avoid such players next time because all in all, the idea of forcing a person to give a flag up plus the threat of losing it by opponents while waiting isn't a good mixture.

then wt if u flip accidently & the  battle is about  to end in a draw

but if u flip & the player who takes the wpont be able to cap it & he'll have to give it to & that player will also get credit for helping to cap a flag

Thats why in my idea I said that you could hold down f for 3 seconds and grant the ownership to another player that gets it.

if the player could not cap the flag he has to giv e it to the player who took it in the first place but this would be a problem in small maps cuz by the time u wait for person who took it u might lose the flag

That's based on the player's skills, if he is pro he wont flip or maybe by accident he flips, If tankionline do your idea, then the battle will be annoying, people will just take the flag and self destroy, and he will appear in his base with the flag and he gonna cap it easily.

Thank you very much for a polite reply and statement in why this will not work. As I said, whoever travels the furthest will be the owner, but maybe they could develop a system so that it only registers movements away from the flag, so that people won't just run in circles and claim ownership. :)
