Best April Fools Day Jokes

A little late to be starting this topic, but to the heck with that!

As the title says, what are some of the best April Fools Day jokes/pranks YOU have seen or heard of?

 

The best one I heard of was back in the 1940's in North Carolina, USA when a town played a joke on it's residents stating that a 10,000 tonne German Battleship was steaming through the lake of that town. Even though it was April Fools Day and the newspapers even hinted that it was an April Fools Day joke, traffic was lined up for miles to see the "battleship" (Apparently, Americans back then were a little bit on the gullible side.)

OMG! This was the worst one!  :wacko:  :P

 

Toilet Surprise:

 

Print out a life-size face (this can be anyone-someone in your family, a monster, a celebrity, your victim, or even yourself). Attach it to the underside of the toilet seat facing up. Now close the lid to the toilet. When your victim lifts the lid, they will get a scare!

In my city the govt stated that many terrorists who act like homestates were present.
Chaos broke out everywhere, it was an april fools joke but many didn't realise it..
It resulted in a huge fight and even the parties of my state begun to fight and finally it was a massacre. 1000 people were injured and 10 to 20 were killed
From then on the govt decided not to do these things and severely apologized.

There was another one I heard of where you go up to a porta-potty if a friend of yours is inside taking a #2, and you drop a heavy object down the ventilation shaft, causing the toilet water to splash up on them.  :blink:
