Mouse controls and changes in auto-aim mechanism

I've tried Isida, and it feels weird to play with.

I mean, it feels like I am shooting a fixed beam, and it doesn't sway side to side and keep the lock on a tank like it used to. I hope the new "golden middle" will make it even better, because I really like Isida with mouse controls. :)

 

As for Shaft, it is my primary Turret for my alternate, I hope it gets fixed soon. ^_^

also the shaft has  been  f up aims at the marige of karagkiozi ( στο γαμο του καραγκιοζη δηλαδη). the best thing since you want to set this update is to give us the choice  to have it or not .

Guys, don't worry. We'll fix Isida back, or even better, make it the golden middle between what it was and what it is now. Feedback's noted.

Vulcan also has a problem, sometimes when pressing spacebar, it doesn't shoot, and it mostly happens when you re-spawn after you die.

So, they want Tanki devs to make stuff they want to see in the game. But unfortunately it can't be like that all the time.

Previous version was a lot better(mouse control)

We can't use mouse while window screen mode, also full screen mode turns too slow.

Just works for long rangers :( I was hoping something pro twins because previous version was very good for twins :(

Shaft is completely unusable now.

 

Two issues,

 

1. When I zoom in, the shaft goes up or down without me doing anything.

2. When I do manage to aim, the actual shot is diagonally below (down right) from where the cross-hairs are. Basically aiming is impossible, and a shaft that cannot aim is useless.

 

Sorry, but this update is awful. Its made tanki unplayable for me atleast.

 

Update - I have refreshed, cleared cache, etc. etc.

 

I uploaded images to show what the issue is .. I have tried this on chrome and safari on mac.

 

Steps to repro,

1. Stand against a wall, and zoom using shaft

2.  Shoot

3. DO NOT use cursor keys or mouse, and zoom again - observe that the hit from shaft is down right from where the actual zoom was .. and .. this is much worse at longer distances (basically shaft is useless).

We have noted your and others feedback on Isida and it will be fixed.

About long distances, it's related to other turrets, not Isida, as it's a close-ranged weapon:)

I really enjoy this game, and love my Izzy : being able to heal my team mates is the primary reason I utilize this turret 99% more than any other (I have them all except Firebird). As an offensive weapon, Izzy has a hard enough time competing against the other turrets as it was, so this new "improvement" just ticked me off even more.

The new isida aims is really annoying because it keeps moving while you try to heal or kill an other tank, and it bothers the eye.... i get the idea of it but  it's not comfortable and really annoying.

Finally. As someone who grew up on FPS from the original Doom until now it is nice to have this option available. Takes a bit of getting used to but now I can make more effective use of Freeze and Firebird than before.

The new Opera is just Chrome in disguise. If it doesn't work with Chrome then it won't work with Opera.

 

You might have to use version 12.xx as it is not based on Chrome.

Dear Tanki,

Please remove the mouse update as it is really really really BAD!!  My shaft aims in the sky and does not work properly.  I get killed every time in battle because I cannot aim to kill the bad guys.  This really sucks and you guys should find something better to do with your time than screw up a perfectly good shaft game.
