Mouse controls and changes in auto-aim mechanism

I wish you were running tanki or at least the dev team ;)........

I hope they learn from this failure and the game becomes better with this knowledge.

Thanks for the compliment, but I'm nobody special. It isn't that they need me or someone like me running the Dev team, they just need to listen to the many voices that are trying to tell them that their current process for testing and release is not working. It has failed them too many times in the last few updates. There are a lot of really smart people in this game and many suggest ideas for things other than new feature for the game. Ones that will help with testing, and dealing with violators for example, but for some reason they are only interested in ideas for new stuff.

shaft users deserve a crystal rebate so we can buy a new weapon.

i've spent 710,000 crystals on upgraded m3 shaft, and i want a refund.

Yeah, good luck with that. Tanki couldn't care less how much their players spend. NO REFUNDS EVER.

People,

This is Russain technology. What would you expect? Unless the makers of the game can prove me wrong, no one is going to see an improvement or a refund. I've complained about rude admins, a guess what - nothing, no response.

As for the shafts, I love playing them. They are my main weapon. So I can manage after the initial shock of the bugs, but some remaining problems are still annoying: off target from time to time, and spinning turret a few times in every game. What any player needs to do is download Firefox, turn on the mouse option. Put up the full screen. By pressing "C" twice you turn the mouse control off. Whenever the turret spins, click on the mouse. This will stop the spinning. Then press "C" for the turret to go back into position After that the tank should perform normally - until the next malfunction. For off target - just let the target go up or down on its own, then press all the turrent movement buttons (don't let go of the space bar). This should enable you to control the turret once more - until the next malfuction in the game. Should make it possible to play Shaft. This advice should have come from the Devs, but instead from me, one of the users.

People,

No it isn't...lots of other games which are developed in America control the turrent via the mouse.

Unless the makers of the game can prove me wrong, no one is going to see an improvement or a refund.

Ok ok ok... slow down there for a sec... where did the refund part come from...no one paid for the mouse controls xD

And what do you think is the reason for making this topic....let me answer that for you.

That’s all for now. Time for you to try out mouse controls! Make sure you share your thoughts about this new feature in comments below. Your feedback will help us polish it to perfection.

As you guys say there are lots of bugs than need fixing but shouting at the devs about the same thing over and over not going to make the update come more quickly :/

For shafts: So the simple solution is just don't use mouse controls if it's not working for you.

First of all I am joking in a sence that this is "Russian" - point is it diesn't work well. As for refunds - read other people's posts - they spent time and real money in upgrading their weapons only fort hem to become difficult to use. THe last point is that it is not a simple question of turning the mouse control off. For Chrome users the bug is permanent, regardless if the controls are on or off. For Firefox users the spinning turrets and off target occur often with the mouse control even turned off. My advice was to turn it on so it can be disables easier.

Final comment - you sound like one of the Russian Devs - what bug, there is no bug... a bit like the little green men in the Ukraine... What Russian soldiers? There are no Russian soldiers...

I still have not received any type of answer with regards to the shaft turret freely moving up or down on it's own. Could it been acknowledged please.

I use chrome and my shaft works just fine... i admit it is annoying that i had to download firefox to try out mouse controls but other than that it is fine to me.

Before you continue on that refund thing...if tanki thinks that players were temporally disadvantaged for something on there part they would compensate but they would never refund...and example of this is last year near the end of summer when tanki offered a 70% discount on firebird for one hour and the discount didn't appear in some garages. Tanki saw that this happened and the sale was extended for 1 whole day to make it right.

Just because the devs aren't here saying "Sorry! Sorry! it will never happen again, please forgive us!" doesn't mean that they are ignoring the bugs.I fact that should be a good thing... it shows that they are trying to fix it.

It is impossible for the devs to fix an update that took months to make in 1 week if you take into consideration the following:

  1. The time it would take to spot the problem with not only the shaft miss firing but to make it playable on most browsers
  2. The time to fix the problem
  3. The fact that most of tanki's devs are working hard on re-writing tanki onto the unity platform for better performance
  4. Fixing the new problem that the E-Sports server is facing in order to play the remaining matches.

to those who say that the devs should take update out... you don't know if it is as simple as that. It may be even harder to take the update out that to just fix it

If you still think that devs are just sitting in an office all day playing cards that is your opinion.

Time for what?
Put a defective crap in the game
Should have the humility to step back
And postpone this update until the problems are resolved.

All I want is the boss to say yes there is a problem with shaft and were working on it. Not stay quite about it. Clear post out in the open the problem so everyone can cool it!! That's all I ask.
