MOUSE CONTROLS UPDATE FOR SHAFT STILL THE WORST THING EVER DONE FOR THE SHAFT IN TANKIONLINE

#1 - Spawn into the game the turret starts spinning out of control.

I have to take time to get the turret under control before I can even start looking for a target.  Many times, I get destroyed right away.

#2 - After I have wasted time getting the turret under control and I engage the scope, the scope starts pointing upward to the sky where there are no targets.   Again, I have to take time to get control of the scope before I can begin to aim at a legitimate target.   Again, I get destroyed.

#3 - When I do capture a flag, and start driving back toward my base,

when an opponent comes close to me, the turret starts spinning out of control, and the hull turns away from where I am driving.  Once again, I get destroyed.

AS STATED IN TANKI VLOG 42,

Tankionline knows the Mouse Controls Update does not work in Google Chrome and Safari.

They said to try it in Microsoft Internet Explorer which gives me the same problems stated in my previous post.

Apparently, mouse controls might work in Firefox or Opera.

Are there any Shaft players out there who have had any success with the mouse controls update in Firefox or Opera?

I have had success in Internet Explorer

Can you record your problems and maybe I can find a way to help you?

Shaft seems to be fixed at last, thanks.

Not even close.

It's nowhere near fixed. Turret still spining out of control frequently, aiming does not work until zoom sequence is over and, to annoy me even more, the old auto full up or full down aim is back again.

The whole thing is really pathetic. And no, there is absolutely no excuse for this. If you people do not know how to fix this and are unable to roll back, just remove the shaft from the game and call it a day. And do not forget to refund because now it's really a fraud - you're selling something you *know* is broken to your paying customers.

I've not even bothered with using the mouse controls yet, I may not even play on it either. I'm fine with the good old touch pad. I guess all features become fully fixed over time, but at least they are working on developing the game a lot more than it currently is, eh?

The auto-aim on all turrets needs adjusting.  By example, both tanks on parallel plains but each plain is at a different height, the lower tank can hit the higher tank but the higher tank cannot hit the lower tank...rubbish physics

At least 3 times each 30 minutes I get this glitch:

1 spin

1 aim straight up

1 aim straight down

This is a crappy patch on the mouse control programming, that was supposed to emulate Shaft for other turrets. What a concept.

Yup. Says it all. And I am still using Shaft on battles like Monte Carlo and Madness. ("Madness? This..is...Spasmic!")

i would just like to take a moment to thank the developers for Mouse controls that don't work right. and even when not enabled, manage to mess up the shaft!!! It has been a while now since the release of mouse controls. which they knew in testing didn't work, and was imposed on Tanki customers anyway. and is still causing problems. because it hasn't been fixed... so thanks once again developers. you bunch of inept, scrubs, you would answer well to a whipping.

I use Stand Alone 17 and shaft is pretty much useless. Spins out of control after a re-spawn, if I was in zoom mode when I died. Goes to full up or full down when entering zoom mode.  I have never enabled mouse controls, I've always been too afraid of completely ruining all control.

This messes up other controls from time to time for other hulls as well.  Auto aim will stop working.

This update should have never been released in this state. Tanki really has 2 choices. 1. Revert the update. 2. fix-it

Ignoring it will not make it go away.

Are there any lawyers on here? Do you think we could do something to get the money back or at least a refund of crystals spent on Shaft?

I am requesting you remove "Shaft" from my garage and refund me all the crystals I have spent on it. It is a known defective product and I would like a refund. I'm not asking for the real money that I used to buy the crystals, only the crystals them selves. I can spend them on something that works. Any business in the world should honor refund requests on known defective products. In most cases they do it for fear of a class action lawsuit.

Same here. We know the problem is due to co-opting the controls for mouse control, because they have written TWO CONFLICTING CODES to do the same thing when it comes to Shaft. No one knew that their JAVA was so bungled until they implemented it, and turning off the mouse control does not solve the problem. Obviously it is not affecting the top players or they would be here grousing about that stupidity along with us.

Here's your solution: Get Shaft, use it, see for yourself. The developers are well aware of the problem and what caused it.

They are too busy doing other piddling things to fix it, and they can't take it out without screwing it up further.

And we need pressure on the devs, not mystified apologists.

Did that ages ago, and recorded it too

I have been using shaft ever since WITH mouse controls, no problem with it

I have no problem now.

But someone say there is still a problem.

Maybe you don't have and he has.

Also, I think mouse is slow and has low accerelation.

Count yourself lucky. It ain't fixed.

No it isn't.

Had, problems a few times with it myself this week.

Same old same: Turret block and refuse to turn. Or aoming start up uncontrollably when entering sniping mode.

Admitedly. not as often than it used to be, but not yet fixed.
