NIce update.

For some people that says the dont have the Control mouse in settings is because you haven't read all the topic please take 5 minute to read it, It wont take much its says everything all your wuestions will be solved. Many of you have read the part at the bottom that says " This feature is currently not supported by Chrome and safari browsers. If you would like to try out mouse controls and your

browser prevents you from doing so, please install Firefox or Opera. "  So if you have read taht you would be asking I dont have mouse controls in my setting. So please read all the topic.

Thank you!

you guys really hate the devs dont you,

Cut 'em some slack, they're trying to make the game more user-friendly

I feel so betrayed. The facebook page got me really excited but it was just boring old mouse controls. This update will only help new players, and won't benefit anyone on a laptop.  :(

And, will it actually benefit new players? If you read these comments, the skilled players that know how to turn their turrets fluently can preform much better without using mouse controls. If new players never learn how to use the keyboard to turn their turret, they will never be as skilled as keyboard users. And they have no reason to learn to use their Z and X keys with mouse controls. This may lead to the next generations in Tanki being less skilled, which is not a good thing and does not benefit new players in the long run.

Well, you can always attach a mouse to your laptop :P Edited by tanker538N

Quick heads up guys - the Shaft is really glitchy on Google Chrome. I have a touchpad laptop so im not too interested in the mouse feature anyway but when i use my shaft it becomes a problem. When zoomed in, the aim is sporadic. It's all over the place. Either it takes the scope completely in one direction i.e. all the way up or all the way to the left or to the right etc, or when I release the spacebar the shot isn't centered and it lands somewhere usually off towards the bottom right corner.

It's probably just a calibration issue or somehow my touchpad is interfering but my shaft is rendered useless now. I've restarted my browser a bunch of times, refreshed the page a bunch of times, tried keeping the mouse off the screen and on...nothing works. For me the shaft is down for the count until a fix is released. Which sucks because it;s the only gun i use

Hope an update is implemented soon or at least a feature to have it disabled in chrome.

1. Thanks for a ll the bug reports, guys. We've already sent them to our testers. (Standalone users, update your Flash players, mouse controls don't work with 16th version)

2. Sorry for some browsers not supporting the feature, but it's not up to us. Architecture of Chrome and Safari doesn't allow for this mechanism to work there. We hope they will fix that soon. For now, use Firefox (which is the best browser for Tanki btw)

3. If you don't like the feature, ok. Better consider it as an early prototype of something that will be main control option in the new Tanki.

Again, sorry for not the most stable release, guys. We are monitoring things you say and will be polishing mouse controls in the future.

It does not want to work on Opera. It's all updated. Only works on Fire Fox for me.

I like how this feature has a better flow when turning your turret, might appeal more to new users.

Maybe add a small dot where your mouse is currently on the screen?
