Is Tanki really a fair game?

Ever since Tanki has brought the new guns (Hammer and Vulcan) the game has been pretty unbalanced in so many ways, and the fun went downhill with the balance also. I know the game needs new stuff to get it going, I understand that and I'll admit I was quite excited when they announced these new guns were going to be introduced. Well, now I see how big of a mistake it was. Not for them, that's positive, because their pockets must be really full by now. But, for the fair players who have been in this game all along, it's quite hard to play in a battle where these 2 guns are present. 

About Hammer, I don't have much to say. Yes it's OP but it has its fairness.. Not too hard to play against it. Although, I can't say the same about Vulcan..

It's really a hard time to play against Vulcan, and it always causes players to quit before the battle even starts because it's just too hard to run of that thing. Truth is, it has more advantages than the disadvantages it should have. Let's be honest, that burning effect doesn't really do much to them. After killing the whole enemy team (literally), they start burning, lose one kill, respawn, and yet again, kills the whole enemy team.. Their d/l is not even bad, I've seen one who didn't have Isida on his team getting a d/l of over 200 kills and down 90 deaths in Polygon CP. Imagine what would it be if he had an Isida by his side... Ever since they brought this, all I'm seeing is one team full of players while the other side is almost or totally empty without players. And what is my surprise by joining it? Vulcan killing the enemies as they respawn, not even letting them move. What's the fun of that? 

 

It has unlimited range, it has no reload time, it moves your tank ridiculously making it impossible to reach them... Useless to buy the paints against it, nothing really changes.. 

 

But this is just my opinion.. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe not.. All I know is that Tanki is not what it used to be anymore. No fair play.. 

 

Anyway.. What is you guys thoughts on Vulcan and what do you think should be changed on it?

Hammer is really OP, 1 shotting my Wasp with a power if i don't use a defense (M3 Wasp here). But i guess it has cons with only three shots before it has to reload. Vulcan (shudders) what a beast of a gun. When i rank i'm gonna go from M0 to M3 in a snap, unless it gets nerfed before i get to buy it.  <_<

As a vulcan user, i stop firing when i'm about to burn, so yes they should make the burning damage 3 times stronger. and hammer, its too OP they should nerf the range.

I saw a vulcan drugger, who kept a freeze as his friend to prevent him from burning. I agree they are OP, and their cons are less than other weapons, but still they are matchable in my opinion.

Yes, I agree with you  :) after Hammer and Vulcan came out the game had been unbalanced. Tanki must to fix this somehow

Maybe Hammer and Vulcan are not so unfair. But I think the main reason are maps.

 

Some support red and some support blue which makes the battle unfair for the opposite team.

Vulcan is just too OP compared to twins, they are just "worse vulcan" option when there are too many vulcan protecting paints in polygon CP -_-

I think it's pretty fair. It's just the number of protection paints out there for them is low atm.

In my opinion hammer isn't really OP but vulcan is ridiculously OP. High fire rate, impact force and damage. Also, the buring damage is too low and insignificiant.

 

What we haven't had is a 50% sale on paints so we can buy decent paints that protect us against hammer and mainly vulcan.

I just had a doubt.

 

What's the point of XP and BP battles?I mean you don't any Experience in format battles.Parkour is for fun.

 

 

On topic:

Yeah,Vulcan bothers me sometimes especially drugging Vulcans.You could deal with them by buying Paints.:unsure: Anyway,I should say that a tweak might be in order because Vulcan does have incredible powers.I think you should engage them in Close-range with a close range weapon like Firebird,Freeze,Hammer and Isida. ;)

Nothing should be changed, and must remain as it is!

Vulcan is a new turret and it is highly possible that the Devs made a unknown mistake in it.If you look at the previous turret's histories,many would have been tweaked and changed.

Well I dont see that many Vulcan users in the battle I join BUT Hammer OMG that thing is way OP imo. I see that thing kill tanks with just 1 shot! Went its on my team I sure am glad it is LOL!

New equipment is always overpowered because otherwise no one would buy it.  This is true of all pay to win games and is just the nature of the business model.  Vulcan may be a bit overboard as it has no real counter.  Everything else has some form of checks and balances in place to even it out.  Chances are in the future they will reduce the damage significantly.  Hammer worries me, while not as overpowered as vulcan and a bit more formidable at medium distance than it probably should be it seems like it completely replaces twins.  Twins is already one of the most limited hulls in terms of maps it can be used on and roles it can fulfill.  Hammer seems to narrow this even further.  What can a twins do that a hammer can't do better?

Vulcan already has a counter: Freeze. Vulcan's already bad at close range, and has a horrid turret rotation. Freeze makes the problem even worse, and you might as well try to fight someone else while talking damage from the freeze.

 

Twins excels at mid-range pressure. As a Hammer user, I run the other direction when fighting a Twins, as the lack of reload is stupidly nonpunishable. The impact force is also annoying. I'm going to have a terrible time, as I can't use any momentum (figuratively) against Twins, nor have any good escape options while I am at it.
