Do not release any more updates until test server

Recommended Posts

The devs should not release any more updates until they have been tested in the test server. Ugh why am I even speculating this? Even if it goes into the test server it always gets messed up when brought into the actual game.

For starters it’s a must the daily challenges and the system save achievements go into the test server before being implemented into the game, why? Because it needs to be tested to ensure nothing goes wrong, what if some of the tasks causes gullable multing? (Sadly it is what around 10-30% of our community is, anyway) What if system changes do not bring the intended change needed, I do not want to join a battle and find that 3 people have already joined and left and get crystals I worked for them to get the time they were gone. Or I do not want to leave a battle and I want to return to collect my share, but nobody leaves (not sure how this one’s going to be solved) Anyway, that’s my suggestion

That's the problem with the test server. Many aspects of new systems can't be properly tested, because on the test server the rules are different - nobody cares about the battle fund, everyone wastes their drugs as much as they want, there is no equipment difference as everyone is on M3+, etc.  Multing is one of the untestable issues. Like with the crystal boxes, where nobody cared about 100 crystal boxes on the test server, but on the main servers the battles changed into crystal box hunts, since 100 crystals is actually a pretty big sum.

Some updates are just too small to be tested, so the devs prefer to let it out on the main servers as quickly as possible and fix the issues afterwards as it's probably easier and more efficient. I'm pretty sure they know better what needs to be open tested on the test servers and what doesn't...

That maybe could be solved if an ordinary server would be available for 3-4 days testing, say server Ru22. Thus everyone would play in this server knowing that it tests a new update and the results would be reliable. Feedback would have to come from different ranks in real conditions for the said ranks.

It goes without saying that this special server would not be available when nothing is tested.

I can understand for a major game-changing update like mouse controls or smart cool-downs, but update such as new looks, minor map changes, etc. don't need to be tested out in the test-server.
