WW1 and WW2

we all know the famous world wars well both of them i hope so... What are your thoughts on those wars? did it benefit or not benefit the world? did it temporally create peace? Was it necessary to use the A-bomb on japan? If we know how deadly the A-bomb is then why do we still make them? even tho the world can be destroyed. Is that the plan for the countries that have A-bombs? to destroy the whole world including themselves?  Why do we need to fight other countries we have enough problems in our own countries! one country is in a war then one gets mentioned then they join the war and so on? what is the purpose of war? to destroy each other? to show that everyone hates other countries? and who has more power than the other :s to end this PEACE WILL NEVER HAPPEN ON EARTH UNTIL EARTH IS DESTROYED!   Post your ideas on these wars

I laugh whenever I think of them. Why? Because whenever I imagine those two wars, I want to cry because of the people killed during them. It really makes me sad. But, then I remember that if these wars were not there, I would not be here at the moment, I want to thank them somehow, but I just can't do it. That's really funny, isn't it....

It's a bit complicated. Let me explain you this way. Many people were killed during the wars. If they weren't, my great grand grandparents would probably marry with different people, and so, I wouldn't be born.

WWI was a total waste with to many casualties. It was like war games. Who had the most men and equipment to show? :(

 

Sad for all of those individuals. Most joined without proper training thinking it was going to be a field day........

in WW1 France runs from the battlefield.. Canada Stays and wins vs Germany...

As far as i recall in ww1 the Russians made peace with the Germans after heavy losses and the Germans

were going to crush french and the English till at the last year of the war the Americans came in with 1 million man strong army

Which changed the course of the war , and they only intervened since if the Germans won then one Hegemon

Would rise in Europe and could seriously challenge the rising power back then .. USA.

As far as i recall in ww1 the Russians made peace with the Germans after heavy losses and the Germans

were going to crush french and the English till at the last year of the war the Americans came in with 1 million man strong army

Which changed the course of the war , and they only intervened since if the Germans won then one Hegemon

Would rise in Europe and could seriously challenge the rising power back then .. USA.

France fought bravely ok <_< but the Ardennes offensive definitely was a big punch in the stomach to them.

governments kill off their own people how sad

 ha the government can care less about their people all they want to show is how powerful they are they can care less if their own military is left in the battle field abandoned left to die, never to be picked up by da choppa (ex: bay of pigs (caused by the Americans)) if you know what happened Kennedy did not call in support (he called it off) to help the people to progress into Cuba.

Who says Americans (Ex: trying to get into other countries business) learn from mistakes and Russians (Ex: Ukraine) is all no one is going to learn until ww3 when its to late and those missiles (atomic) are fired into the sky and they all the countries and going to fire them one after another then then when they realize they had made a mistake on launching those missiles (atomic) and the end of the world is here and the cant take it back.. they gonna wish they hadent started another war and tryed to show off whose more powerful

So of someone from another country trys to steal something from me I will have to kill him to resolve this issue? ?

well i'm 18 :s, and plus i'm enlisting to join the Marines ._. and i'm just saying war should be the last thing to do on the list ya know? It should not be the first thing we go to. there are many problems and many solutions but war should be the LAST solution to a problem, i'm not saying its not necessary for there to be a war but it should be the option to go to if there is nothing to go to after all other solutions have been used if they did not work then yea there should be war

I have no idea how can war create peace, mate. War is existed to ONLY to destroy peace.. Unfortunately..

I think who ever started those wars are humans with mental issues they thought they can take over the world.

It's a sick idea and anyone who has these kind of ideas is a sick person. And if you think that controlling the world is a good thing? Please think about the humans, about their freedom. I personally DETEST wars, first of all, they kill enormous verity of innocent people.

Second of all, they destroy the Ozone layer, in which letting the harmful sun radiation pass through and kill the planets and provide skin censer and lots of life taking diseases and so killing even more people. Why can't we just live in peace? Is it that hard to let people live with out any concerns?

You know, over here in Iraq some people get scared every time they leave their houses and pray when they do that they can comeback in one peace.

 did it Temporally create peace? it can cause a peace for a short time, in some cases peace can only last for one short breath then your back at war that your just got out of, the only way to get peace is if you died and entered the afterlife
