Great idea, it should make a big improvement. However I'm not sure if it is just me but the forum seems laggy today, and I'm having trouble getting my notifications list to load.

and to me I think that all players should be able to leave comments in the Press section. The Newspaper has contests and useful guides, and Low Rankers shouldn't be prevented in taking part.

There only is one thing wrong with this: Alt accounts. Some people make alt accounts so they can still chat on the forum without revealing their main. I'm not one of those people, but I know this is problem. Maybe there should be some way that the forum can check if an account is an alt or not?

The update isn't designed as a punishment. Lower rankers, when joining, still have a lot to learn about the forum, know which rules to abide to and having restricted posting areas reduces their chance of getting banned. If they flood and violate while they are still finding their way about the forum, in the long term, they will regret it as it ruins their karma when they are unaware of it. I think it's a good idea, +1

There's definitely a glitch with this update, the forum is very, very....veerrrryyyy slow.

Wow this sucks. What if I'm banned for one or another reason , won't be able to use my alts except for developers news. Like anyone cares about that...
