2015, April's Rebalance Plans from V-log 42 Off-Topic Opinions:

 

The following are the new parameters (not final)

 

 

Freeze: Significantly increased damage, reduced max range damage

Isida: Increased Damage, Same self healing and team healing.

Ricochet: Increased projectiles damage, increased range

Shaft: Reduced fire rate, +10 increased arcade damage

Thunder: increase damage, markedly reduced fire rate

Twins: increased damage by +2 / shot from previous stat

Smoky: increased damage

Firebird: reduced direct damage, increased after burn damage.

Railgun: Faster reload of 5.5 after max MUs, all the rest are the same.

Increased Railgun reload? Woohooo!

Yup Faster Railgun's reload, i think this step will be bringing a lot of smiles to the xp players :)

Increased damage though. Basically it just took the next step in ultimate R

Not really, since your opponents will also have a faster reload. Although it will accelerate gameplay, that's for sure.

Slower reload of Thunder, bleh.

I think it will nerf down thunder, because before the last major rebalance, thunder was having a max damage of 103 when fully MUed but was with a slow reload rate.. but after they have reduced its damage to max of 90 while increasing its reload to 2.00 it became much better than when it was with a higher damage.. reloading is more important i think ..

If rail's max reload will be of 5.5 instead of 6.64 then it will be an epic gun, people who play polygon will have to worry from rail this time and its a good step to bring back its reputation and it suits the rank that rail m3 unlocks at ... come on all know that the so many anti rail paints has turned this gun into a history, and people started to use it only in xp battles. even less use these days in e sports  

 

And agree, these changes will bring faster destruction of tanks and thus more funds to the high rankers this time, 

I could get more funds with my low ranks of around 3k / 30 mins that i can't get it with my high rank at all .. thats because with high ranks all the bases are strong and hard to destroy ..

Yep, at the end o' the day number of shots (usually)required remains the same. I wish to destroy the enemy as quick as possible.

Sadly the number of shots wont remain the same as they clearly said that thunder's fire rate will be decreased.. this isn't good at all for thunder, i wish if they keep it the way it is now .. however its their right to do this, as thunder isn't supposed to shoot as smoky does, otherwise whats the difference.. thunder is supposed to be a gun that is used for mass damage unlike with smoky .. but these days i can destroy smoky at mid ranges using same hp tanks with thunder ... despite nerfing thunder is not good for me at all as i am a thunder player :/

Yea, increased Smoky damage, but critical damage decreased :( Also making Isida more OP by giving it a faster reload/range, idk if that's a great idea.  :wacko:

no, its increased smoky damage and less critical damage, but same critical damage rate, i will try to upload on the main post the video that talks on the changes only .. 10 mins and it will be there .. thanks

Moved from Thunder to Rico when they introduced self-destruct penalty. Well, with faster projectile speed and range I ain't too dissapointed.

yes the increased Thunder's damage while slowing down its reload will cause more self damage and less ability to shoot the around walls to avoid self damage.. however the reduced damage to the periphery of the blast may as well reduce thunder's self damage hopefully ..

Its totally an unorganized "rebalance". Good job with all the new parameters and stuff but all medium and heavy hulls got more hp and all turrets got a bit better. What will happend to wasp and hornet users? they have less hp against those op turrets. You didn,t think of those two at all. Wasp was sooo unpopular (except BK) and now you'll never see one in any normal battle.

What will happend to wasp and hornet users? they have less hp against those op turrets. You didn,t think of those two at all. Wasp was sooo unpopular (except BK) and now you'll never see one in any normal battle.

Those hulls are allready too popular especially hornet.

you forgot that they're going to make titan heavier... of course no one cares except for like the 5% of tanki that actually uses titan XD

Hornet and Wasp are gonna get a big nerf in the future. I am sure of it. The medium and heavy hulls have been nerfed A LOT in the past month, I hope that Hornet and wasp get a nerf (good) too.

enough people use wasp and hornet already. why would they nerf it for good? that would only attract more players to use lighter hulls, making all the other hulls useless. 

 

Just because it benefits you, doesn't mean it will benefit tanki. A lesson that a lot of people need to learn right now sadly.
