================ Most Importance of The Team ==============

 

1. Don't join a battle against your friends (unless you are "helping"  :ph34r:  )

2. Better don't joint a battle against other clan team, as normally they will drug and using mult,

 

A Drug Team with mult will always win, no matter how strong a raid team is; so don't waste time fight a battle against multing enemy team.

(unless we have Mod in our team to remove enemy mult)

 

4. You really need M4 hull, or a M3 heavy hull (Titan, Mamthom)

5. You really need one close range high rank paint (inferno, rock, zues, lamberjack) , and one long range high rank paint (prodigi, clay, picaso, jade, needle, africa)

 

6. make sure the battle can take at least 10 vs 10 map.(3 vs 3 is pretty much on luck for both side drugging)

like Rio, Silence, Kurgur, Lost Temple, Madness

 

7. Good to have a secondary turret (Freeze or Isida)

 

8. if you can't join a invitation, just click Decline, so we know we need to invite other quickly.

 

of course, if you are not near by computer or in a private battle, then just ignore the invite. and remember to check who invited you to see their progress or need for help.

 

9. Make sure invite Strong Guys and Strong Buyers to this team,

or at least let us to Who we should avoid wasting time battle with.

 

10. Make good enemy leader as friends, so next time we can have one less strong enemy. :P  (That is how I have like 298 generalismo friends.)

This will only lead to people breaking the rules. True raiding parties break all kinds of rules just to get what they want, and I've already seen people, in this topic, hint of using mults. They have large pools of accounts that any member of the "group" can log into. If one of those accounts gets banned it is not a big deal they just use another one. They rotate through all the accounts in order to earn crystals for all accounts. This way everyone has access to an m4 account with lots of supplies. Members of these groups don't do it for personal gain they do it for the group as a whole. Why? because they get satisfaction from being bullies.  Is this what you all want to become?

You can say you will only raid other groups of raiders but it will not stop there. The temptation to just steal from any battle you can will be too great and then you become the very players you hate.  Being able to block a raid is one thing, but becoming raiders yourselves is another.

Personally I feel that it is very inappropriate that members of Tanki Online staff are involved in this, I feel it sends a very poor message to younger players.

And then it will start a trend that inspire other raiders, and takeover parties... The chain never stops - If Everyone Can Do, I can do too!

 

How is 'ethical' raiding different from other raiding parties? I have mixed feelings on this one. :ph34r:

Well, you can't really judge this group yet because not a single battle has been played and the "take over" strategies weren't revealed. I can guarantee that this won't get to a point where mults and other illegal strategies are used to win, so what I'm hoping this will turn out to be is just a club of "enthusiastic druggers", who like to find good battles with strong opponents and win against them.

 

To be honest, compared to what it was like 3 years ago, I don't see how "takeovers" would be possible now. I mean, unless we're talking PRO battles (of which there may be a maximum of about 20 suitable ones per day), this is what battles are like:

  • No battle is longer than 1 hour long and the fund rarely goes above 20k
  • Smart cooldowns mean that having lots of supplies won't make an easy victory anymore
  • Rank limits mean that most battles will have fairly strong opponents with similar skills and equipment
  • There is no kick system to get rid of "random unwanted scum", which the disgraceful term used by "professional raiders" when referring to normal players.
  • The battle fund distribution means that even if the battle is won, the losing team will still get up to 40% of the battle fund.
  • Long battles are generally rare and people prefer to avoid them.

With all these points taken into account, I would actually say that "raids" and "takeovers" are pretty much obsolete by now and this group will never accomplish anything other than playing a fair battle together against a team of random players. Raiding in Tanki Online has been done with and it's time to move on.

To address a few of your points...

 

Nobody in this group will use Mults. Ever.

None of us are sharing accounts, and we never will.

Our goals are to

       a) earn crystals

       b) work well as a

       c) have fun

The only thing we are doing in this group of skilled players is organizing ourselves in a way that allows us to earn crystals quickly and effeciently, and of course have fun. We aren't breaking any rules, and there should be no question of gaming morality with what we are doing. If you find that we are doing something wrong (which you won't), feel free to call us out on it. I understand your concern, but it is unnecessary.

I guess by your definition, we aren't a true raiding party then :p As mentioned, cheating won't be tolerated.

 

We are doing it for fun, how can you say we are doing this to get satisfaction from being bullies? :p

 

What do you mean exactly by "stealing from a fund"? Going into a game to win... Isn't that just a description of what the game is? The fund is up for grabs right? It doesn't belong to anyone until the game is over!

 

  

Well, you can't really judge this group yet because not a single battle has been played and the "take over" strategies weren't revealed. Thank you Maf, of course! But I disagree that raiding is over and done with. Even with smart cooldowns, an organised group will still have a major advantage. Not as large as before, but still an advantage for sure!

 

On another note:

 

I think there is a hidden assumption we are doing this purely to win, to gain crystals, and as some seem to think, "bully" others! It's all a bit of fun, and if you could see our chat, you could see that :) We haven't even won every game, yet no one is mad and we are having a great time.

what is mult ?

An inactive player. Usually a team of raiders get their alternate accounts and enter the enemy team with them. They play with their main account, while the "mult" is being inactive and taking up space on the enemy team. This gives the team of raiders an unfair number advantage and they will easily win, because there are basically less players on the enemy team. This "strategy" is prohibited by the rules and can get you banned if you use it.
