So I noticed that we have a whole range of discussions on all sorts of subjects: real life, gameplay, contests, eSports, ideas end many more. But one thing we are missing is a topic to discuss the forum itself, so this is what I'm dedicating my 3000th post to. 

:)

 

This topic is for discussion regarding the forum in general:

• What you like about it?

My relationship with the forum started on November 2011. That was when I had my first real moment of curiosity and felt like exploring this "forum" thing to see what it was all about. The design was much different back then and the community was smaller - the whole English forum was just one section at the bottom of the Russian one. Most of the time I just stuck around in the "Let's discuss Ricochet" topic of the forum since Rico was (and still is) my favourite turret. I made some friends there, but one day 

I found a club called "The Rico fan club" and that's basically where I spent the next year of my forum surfing. I later joined another club.

 

One day I decided to check out the English forum and noticed that the conversations here could use some of my knowledge of the game, which I have accumulated over the years. After a while people started telling me to apply for a helper job, so I applied and surprisingly quickly got accepted in the end of December.

 

And here I am  :)

Well I like this great forum, the community, helped me find some great friends,

 

And I like the information spread in topics, specially the Press,

 

I learnet much more than I culd have just playing the game,

 

I have left playing due to some reasons but cant leave the forum cause of some of my gr8 friends

and the awesomeness the community has ^_^

Awesome idea! I have yet to think of something special for my 5k post mark...but anyway:

1. I think Political discussion should be allowed in certain topics, and with strict rules, it would be nice to have good debates. :P Also, I think the search menu should be improved so you can search topic names, and you can find out if a certain player has posted in the topic you can searching in.
2. I really like the main page system, which shows all the different sections with popular topics or sub-sections listed underneath, it makes it very easy to find what you need. I also have quite a few praises for the new Forum updates, they have made it even better. :D
3. I like Off-Topic Discussion because I find the weirdest stuff and the funniest things people post. :P I like P&S because it gives me a chance to learn more about different bugs that people are experiencing, and the chance to help them. :) I enjoy scrolling through the opinions on What to buy? Which is better? Topic. The press section certainly gets huge support from me, it's so cool to read all those awesome articles, and to ROFL at the Reporters humor. :lol:The Developers News section is where I give my opinions and discuss latest updates with other players, I also enjoy going through the Gameplay section to read up on tips to become a Pro. B)
4. I started using the Forum a lot more often as 2014 began drawing to a close because I started to gain a huge interest in the I&S section of the forum. I lately stopped going there as much, but I still enjoy reading different ideas.
5. I almost always used the internet just for weather updates, or Homeschool, or Email. Now, Tanki Forum is top on my list of visited sites.
6. I have greatly improved my typing skills and speed, as with my communication skills. I have also learned so much about Tanki as a game itself.
7. I hope the community grows more in the years to come, I hope people start using the forum more often, as it is a great place to spend time when not suing using the game. :)

There is so much more I would like to add, but I can do that in more discussion with all of you guys! :D

We should be allowed to discuss political things here. It's really annoying when you want to say something important, but can't just say it.

What you like about it?

I like the community - most of them are quality trolls (I mean they are funny - no offense).

What sections you like most?

Excluding Developers' news forum, as they are different, Off-topic discussion, Forum games and P&S are my favorite ones.

When and why did you start to post here?

I joined forum about two years ago. I've heard of it in chat and wanted to try it out.

How did it affect your life online?

Hmm...Nice question. I think, yes, it did affect me. It taught me who are my real friends and who are is not.

Did you learn anything new?

Yeah, I did. I learned how to make a really interesting nickname - I.something, fake nicknames (Capital i and lowercase L trick), etc.

And any other thoughts you have..

Actually, they only hide them. Even moving topics to the archive isn't considered deleting them...anyway, there is a good reason for it.

Forum rules apply to all parts of the forum other wise they wouldn't be called forum rules.

The forum is a really nice place to be in. Loads of communication going on with numbers of discussions taking place at the same time. The most fun part about it is that anyone can jump right in to a discussion that is going on and express his opinions on whatever the subject is. It is full of pictures of tanks and amazing creativity stuff. Even educates on how to improve grammatical skills by heading over to the Press section.

 

Pretty epic to be a part of such a friendly forum! :D
