Changes in the parameters of turrets and hulls

If it's too hard for you to read the ranks on the screenshot of the map... go back to tetris and stop ruining my battles.

I never play against gismos so your personal attack is completely out of line.

i don't really agree with the parameters of the freeze.now freeze is OP + i don't like the new type that freezes the turrets instead of the hull its more likely boring and anger.really start hatting freeze :(

 

 

for freeze i would say it'd better return as it was or remove this type that freezes the turrets.

 

but for the rest i really didn't find any problems with'em.->(only FREEZE)<-

Not every change is a good change.Most of the changes should be withdrawn . With ISIDA you should aim like with every other weapon(that is skill) not to jump like crazy where she wants,FREEZE too much freezing-you cant move you gun 10 sec,very bad.THUNDER overpowered (new splash damage mechanism good),RAILGUN little too fast reload ,other weapons or did not tried or the change is too small.

i would love to see tanki do a RETRO day where we could play some of the old maps and have blue box drops and just the old hulls and turrets..... it would be a blast

The changes to freeze:

 

Ridiculously Bad - All the turret change has done is drag every good tanker who can control a turret down to the level of the straight line shooter.

 

Neutral/Good - The lessened hull freezing effect should benefit attackers as a battle could effectively decided by one defensive tank. Attacking freezes will have to work harder to determine how long to freeze a defender for but this should mean the best users will tweak their tactics and adapt quickly.

I was thinking a bit about freeze.

By my opinion (before the try of balance)

- freeze was OP in lower ranks

- freeze and underpowered as M3

 

This was because the freeze effect and tank slowdown was the same in all M-Levls.

 

If tanki would

- go back to the old freeze (like around xmas 2014)

- adapt the freeze effect (less in M0, M1, more in M3)

- sticks with the old unfreeze time

- keeps the old energy consumption and DPS

 

-> this weapon would be perfect.

-> If tanki considers to increase demage on many weapons to catch up with the Hammers.. ok, then increase freeze demage slightly (but not much. Freezes live of wizzed gameplay and not by demage like firebirds).

 

 

Honestly... I doubt if anyone from tanki officials still reads here. I heard no official comment in this kinds of threads since a week (remember we had two threads.. the open test and the real battle scenarios now).

I completely feel your pain. For some Tankers that are completely into this game, found a turret or two that they love to take out and enjoy, this has twisted their spirit. I wonder if Tanki realizes this. I am one of those Tankers who completely enjoy this game even after all these years.

The changes to Vulcan:

 

Why bother making these changes?

 

It does not alter the fact Vulcan is still way over powered and with drug/isida support is almost unstoppable. Why should any combo be able to sit in the open for a whole battle and after 10 minutes have 40 kills with only 2 losses.

 

Add to this its projectiles spraying at all angles meaning any real aiming is not needed and regular double power drugs, the oposition may as well be attacking with feather dusters....

balance is now perfect in my opinion,except for the freeze new effect..this is teaching newcomers how NOT TO PLAY..after the freeze gets you,you can't move your turret,so newcomers will proablly think "why bother to turn turret,it's just the question of time when will freeze attack again"..this slight rebalancing on freeze effect on enemy tank could result even more noobs who can't turn turret..now they have legit reason why they never mastered it in the first place ;) DPS is good,after long time,freeze can really make some points on map,but the "turret freezing" effect?..LOL..just LOL..

yes freeze was underpowered in M3 (but only there).

 

ps: If the new freeze results in more stiff-turret noobs... then they at least don't have to bother the broken mouse controls :p

(which are by the way quite fixed now.. only shaft seems to have some issues left)

Which means you can't figure out how to handle or maneuver to avoid 15 damage points/sec at 50+Meters. These are M4 figures.

Sure it is 30 points a second with X2 firepower at long range. But Again this an  M4 figure w/x2power. 

 

You mention Isida  and/or Freeze support . All that means is you are facing TWO   or MORE tanks, which can't do anything else for their team. 

 

Most Vulcan were/are not M4's, M3's dish out an annihilating  :rolleyes: 14 pts/sec at long range , M2's 13, M1 's a big bad 8 pts.

 

So yea , Vulcan must seem OP, if you sit there ;)  and get shot at by an M4 on double firepower for say 6-15 seconds.

 

Which is about thrice to one 15th  as long as you would live, sitting there as a DUCK  for other long  range M4 weapons at double firepower.

 

Surely , Vulcan is still OP. :lol:

SERIOUSLY.... TANKI developers ??????? I am very upset about this new isida cone range !!! DEVELOPERS ! Have you imagined how disgusting this would be for isida lovers to play with its new cone range ???

 

- I can't rehealth any more my partners while they climb up or down (except if i follow them closely)

- same constatation when i am attacking enemies : i'm freezed, burned, exploded, lasered, smoked and whatever more you want because it is simply impossible to aim them anymore at close range combat because of your change radius. (and no I am not a noob i can ensure you...). I don't even talk about the fact that any hit on isida make it losing the aim..... Pffff how disgusting it is to play with this isida now !!!!!!

 

- moreover if you think that this longer range will compensate, you are absolutely wrong : isida isn't a long-range weapon, but rather used mostlz for healing support for partners. Moreover it can't defend myself at close-range anymore. So what's the utility to have this medium-range ???? Have you already tried to play some battles with this weapon ???

 

Seriously guys developers.... I dont often argue because i know things must go forward, but there... You've just killed all what made this isida handy and enjoyable to play !!!

 

Just one advice : get this isida cone parameter wider quickly !!!!!!

Return to the  40 deg cone, is it essential for ishida players !!! If i break contact for 1 second with my enemy, i become victim, and in new balance this situation  always happen.

I don't use isida, but the cone decrease is having a serious effect on gameplay. And in the worst way. And thunder needs to be put back. :(

Only change i see is the devs have given an unfair advantage to rico and freeze, so thanks devs for another worthless update, i wasn't affected that much by any turret, it was all pretty much the same for me and pretty even game play, but now can't even get close to them without being greatly affected, if you really want to make a change to the game, take same health away from the useless mammoth, since noobs only use it for high health, and sit there forever before they get killed, heck get rid of the tank itself, its a useless tank anyway!

Mammoth sucks, and now there are WAY to many rico/mammoth combos trolling DMs.
