Thunder:

  • To powerful in terms of damage.

  • To powerful for a medium ranged turret: Very high damage, fast reload and tremendous range, not to mention the knock back. Its damage should decrease with its range, and it should be very efficient... like a 10% decrease at 20 meters and 30% at 40 meters. Splash damage should have more of an effect on the user, since 1: You cannot approach it very easily, and even if you do they will drive away and continue knocking you back.

  • Paints are to expensive if you want decent protection. Whenever a weapon is changed to be more significant, it turns out to be overpowered. Its a complete waste of peoples efforts, to play and to make time to play. Prices should lower to make the balance more balanced, for paints at most.

 

Hammer:

  • The range should have decreased. Its like thunder except without the splash damage, reload and range. Basically you guys wanted an excuse for more money and made a gun that was considered a shotgun, but guess what you already had one: Thunder. It had the abilities of a shotgun.

  • The cone should have been more widened to make the pellets scatter.

  • The reload time should have increased.

  • Should have a rotation effect for when driving backwards, like Vulcan does: Vulcan cannot rotate to the right when reversing.

 

Freeze:

  • Very underpowered now. Its very easy to kill and it cannot kill easily. Power is to low, and its just like firebird with the longer effect, and low power.

  • Useless to defend with one freeze on a team now, yo need up to 3 freezes to have the respected power, endurance and fast killing and multi killing for defense.

  • Pointless to open fire on opponents when in the field. You will die anyways because it cannot keep up with how your opponent is damaging you.

  • To much length for the freeze effect.

  • It should freeze both Turrets and hulls, what does the hull have grease all over it or something?

  •  

Isida:

  • To much range.

  • Very difficult to configure your fix on your opponent.

  • Should have lost some self heal.

  • Should cause self damage when healing

 

Firebird:

  • Needs to lower burning damage or shorten the afterburn length.

 

Ricochet:

  • To much impact force. This one of the major issues before the update… Why would you increase it?

  • Needs less damage. About 10% less.

 

Viking:

 

  • Should have never swapped weight with hunter. Hunter has more size. Viking is just a flat piece of metal, that gets stuck on edges. If it has received more weight, it needs less speed.

  • Hunter deserves more speed since it lost weight.

easy for you to say, you guys are high ranks! what about us? the "low ranks" we get it way harder to earn cry! and as i said before, Go back to what tanki was before these stupid updates and bring back the old tanki! more and more of tankers of starting to quit and YOU, the staff, chose to ignore it, ignorance will be your downfall! the downfall of what was once a bloody good game! And whats left of my dreams for tanki, becoming a mod ( i glad i got declined from those disrespecting assholes! although a small handfull are actually nice people) being a starladder player and most of all, getting to gismo before this game is gone or whats left of it anyway and maybe others are the same. THE PLAYERS THAT ARE LEFT WHO WANT THE REAL FUN TANKI BACK, WELL ONE BY ONE THEY ARE LEAVING! and next it'll be the ones who defend you! So let me say this to you semyon, staff and devs you better start listening.

Thunder, in my opinion, is too OP now. I will give my opinions on the other turrets when I have more experience against them.

Have you ever played with thunder? it's a struggle to survive without an isida behind you.

Thunder has some power you just have to find the technique behind it. I'm not a big Thunder runner. I posted a score card in this topic earlier to show how good it is now.

Three freeze on Island would have killed you also before the update.

 

What you should do? Maybe play on larger maps like Serpuchov, Red Alert, Sandbox (yes, sandbox is quite large) and use your weapon accordingly. Play some Polygon DM from time to time. Get pro with the gun you like and pick up all the skill benefits you (have to) learn as railgun (long range aiming, anticipation due to the delay, thinking ahead cause of reload time).

 

With favoring rail you have one large benefit: it is most likely, that this weapon will not get messed up.

Wait and see how the weapons around you develop.. save crystals and decide later. Purchase nothing until June.

BTW I wasn't using rail against them. I was using a m1 combo: twins, hunter/viking, and storm. I generally do play larger maps though.

While some people are giving good feedback to Tanki, ALOT of people are just complaining about the "Rebalancing". Everyone should be giving constructive opinions on these changes so Tanki can weigh everything and make the proper adjustments to the game. Complaining does nothing!

With that being said, I've had a chance to play some with the "Rebalanced" turrets and hulls. Below are my observations on what I saw and tried:

 

HUNTER:

  • I like the new Hunter! It handles better. Seems like a bigger Hornet tank!

VIKING:

  • No real big difference to me with the added weight

 

FIREBIRD:

  • Increase in power is okay (don't know if it was needed though)
  • Faster reload was a good change

FREEZE:

  • Think TOO much power was added to this turret. Should be dialled back just a little bit.
  • The new freezing effect on enemies tank I think is a good change, although you do stay frozen a bit too long affter the attack.

ISIDA:

  • Harder to aim now. Ray bounces around a lot if you are near multiple tanks
  • Longer range I think was a good adjustment

SHAFT:

  • Adding higher damage to arcade mode was a good suprise(don't really know if it was needed)
  • Longer reload time -- REALLY???? Wasn't the laser scope enough of a blow to Shaft users? Now you have to ADD time to the reload. You are making it even tougher on the Shaft users out there. The added reload time should be reversed back to the way it was.

THUNDER:

  • Seems REALLY overpowered now. Way to much added on to this turret. 1 - 2 hits and I'm done. Used to take 3 - 5 hits before. Think the damage needs to be dialed down a bit
  • Longer reload time - I'm figuring this was added to help compensate for the higher damage. I would reset the reload time back to near where it was (as long as the damage gets lowered as well)

The way to fix this is put things back as they were and nerf the two things that were the issue: Hammer and Vulcan.

Put things back the way they were and give Vulcan back it's damage, range, and turret speed.

Why am I here helping, because it is a good game. I've been up and down this road. This is one of the rolls of being a Generalissimo to support. So don't get discouraged!!!  :D Adapted and overcome!!!! B)

How about reject it and leave? Why should people invest in a turret when it may be ruined in the future? Prices are too high as it is.

So if thunder is a problem, how you going to get around that problem. I love taking that tank out that everyone can't take down....... :)

The thing is, I can't even get a view of Thunders without dyeing, no matter how stealthy I am. This is even worse now, because everybody has realized how OP it is, and so at least half of the people in battles now are Thunders.

keep hammer, fix it up to how the players want it and throw vulcan away

The problem with Hammer that I dislike the most is the ability to completely flip a tank from front to back. That's just way OP. I don't have enough fingers and toes to count the number of times this has happened to me.

Ya damn right, hammer needs decreased Knock back, like c'mon they increased the wieght on everything but my viking m1 got fully 360 degree flipped by and m3 hammer, Yes people I flipped and stuck the landing, BUT, I'm lovin the damge increase on thunder, it has the stats to back up its looks finally, It has only 2 damage less than hammer at m3. Things are lookin up, Now if only they could kill the gyroscope on vulcan, make its turret rotation 10x faster and increase its damage slightly, oh yea and take away the charge time, VUlcan m3 cant beat m1 freeze with the slowed rotation speed + freezes upgrade

You must not have looked at Vulcan yet. It's trash now.

You don't think I know it's trash? I'm referring to the turrets that Tanki claimed they buffed, whcih is why there is no mention of Vulcan. Although it got nerfed to the ground, i could imagine it having a buff soon.

 

Isida's range was extended while Twins, Firebird, and Freeze were cut down substantially. In effect Isida can attack all three of those without being touched by any of them. When your range is 40 and suddenly it is 15 that IS a significant crippling of a turret.

plz clarify, have never seen that happen nor does it say so in the spreadsheet.

Upgrades:

 

Smoky = bad, too predictable

Fire = still good cant do much against isida now

Freeze = new mechanism is really bad, turrets freeze too easy and the tank can escape with flags with no problem

Isida = now whats the point in going 1v1 against it with freeze or fire, if isida has more range and heals itself -.-

Rico = nice upgrade but its too boring

Rail = Good, almost nothing changed

Thunder = worst of all, when it had low damage at least we could shoot fast but now, its too slow, the splash its ment for rapid fire not a precise shot that deals too much damage

Shaft = whats the point in using scope now?

Vulcan = almost the same, better for others cause it auto burns easily

Hammer = Didnt notice it at all, is the best turret in game now, flip power, damage and reload speed

Twins = couldnt test it myself but it looks good as well.

 

Agree in the hull upgrades, looks good as far as i know

ahh that makes more sense. I do have to admit 5m of effective range for Freeze and Fire is a bit silly. Twins having a range nerf was extremely uneeded, but it gained a DPS boost, I guess.

 

I think we can all agree one of the devs were thinking this when they buffed Ricochet.

i liked the way thunder was before the stupid updates, we guys play tanki for hours and hours, its us who are responsible for making tanki online successfull, we must have been consulted before making these fool changes, THUNDER's reloading time has been increased, Splash damage has been decresed , DAMAGE RADIUS HAS BEEN DECREASED, RANGE HAS BEEN DECREASED, Ricochet has been made the best turret, whats this DEVELOPERS ??? if you had issues with vulcan and Hammer you should only have updated those turrets, not others, WILL NOT PLAY TANKI ONLINE ANY MORE, and m sure due to these stupids updates other playes will switch to some other game soon :(

lo....Thunder's rate of fire has been decreased and damage is increased.
