All tanks make noise. Especially in this game, there is a lot noise. Sometimes, this can be important.

 

For example, you are using a railgun. All of tankers make some voice. Also, there is background sound. How do you play? You just trust your eyes and shoot. But sometimes, you heard your opponent's engine point, so you turned back and faced a firebird, you hit and killed him before he kills you. Your ear saved you.

 

Yes, that's great, but there is 2 problems.

 

1.Background sound.

2.Your own sound.

 

Background sound can be muted. However, you can't mute your own sound. That makes you a lot hard to hear other tanks sounds which is essential for long range players, defenders, sometimes even every types of players.

 

 

My suggestion is:

 

There should be an option to not hear my own voice. Other tanks will be able to hear, but I just don't want to hear my sound, so I can listen other tanks engines and understand if they are near.

And how is that supposed to make sense? I can see this being a purchasable item, called something like "stealth mode", which allows your tank to be silent. But you can't just choose to not hear your own tank, while listening to others. There's no logic behind it.

It's a hindrance in all war...you must live with it. As Mafioza said, there's no logic in not hearing your own tank, but the others still can. Unless you're wearing military-grade earmuffs, but then, you wouldn't be able to hear the other's either.

The logic behind it is to understand if someone is in 50 meters.

This saved my tank 3-5 times, but this is a lot hard because my tank's voice.

 

Current situation is like walking on a way with earphone, a car may hit you.
