As for upcoming update to Micro-Upgrades, finally they'll be useful! Though I think it would still be a bit more expensive than actually upgrading to the next modification, it's worth it for the huge early advantage you get!

The new Tanki looks gorgeous. Not sure how well it'll do on my PC, but Unity's a pretty good platform (I think it's more efficient than Flash), so I have faith in a better looking Tanki than the current one.

I'm not sure  how I feel about the Micro-Upgrades, just imagine a Smoky M1 Fully Upgraded fighting against Warrant Officers.

That will be a huge advantage for buyers over players who can't buy crystals.

 

However the feature to have a free Modification if the previously one is maxed when you reach the ranks is pretty fair :)

Oh goodness. Microupgrades. I never thought that the devs would do anything like this, but I suppose they're really trying to make this into a pay2win game. Basically, if you have the crystals (and the only way to have that many crystals is by having the cash), you can totally unlock the next modification for your turret. You could run around with a Rail that's at modification "level 1.999..." at Warrant Officer 3. That's insane! And Tanki just confirms this thinking by handing you the next modification for free because, well, it's really a whole level up in everything but name and looks!

 

I wish the Unity Tanki montage was a bit more informative. However, I did manage to figure out that instead of being awesome and making cool new maps, they've recreated one of the less popular maps: Boombox (at least, I think that's the title). Bummer.

 

At least the test box was cute as all get out. By the way, I'm betting that a version of this will be the new drug. It just won't make you turn into a sheep, or eat the flag.
