What is this? "Your friend has diabled invites"

I added a new friend recently, and I wanted to play a game with him/her....
I wanted to invite him/her to a battle via the friends system.
 
But the information dialog on my top right side of the browser said:
 
"Your friend disabled invites"
 
What is this?
 
I have been playing this game for a long long time and I have never seen this.
I went in my settings page and didn't find a check that said "Disable Invites".
 
How did he do this?

I believe it is called 'Show Notifications' or something. It should be in your settings page, at the bottom. 

When someone disables it, then the person inviting him/her will get the message you got (:

To stop receiving battle invitations you need to un-tick the "Show notifications" option at the bottom of the settings panel.

 

In the future if you want to ask a question about the game, please refrain from creating new topics and use the official Questions and Answers topic.
