Paints with movement

Recommended Posts

I have really thought about it wouldn't it be neat to have some paint with moving features, for example in the paint lava if the lava moved it would give the paint a whole new perspective. The same with swash it that paint had moving features it would be unique.

In conclusion i suggest that tanki should consider adding movement to paints, but for those who think the idea of moving features is ridicules tanki should install in the settings a option to turn on movement in their tanks paint or to see the movement in other tanks paint

That seems very interesting.

But just a side note, it would cause some lags in which players with not-that-good computers may start complains. I think a setting option where you can turn it off would help :D

As nice as this idea seems, it would likely cause a lot of lag for many users. However, it may be implemented in the Unity version of tanki.

Always wanted to have movement/animated within paints in tanki, but right know it would be very hard to implement; cause massive amounts of lag. Probably better for the Unity version, also an option to have them off or on would be good?

I don't like it.  Valid concerns about lag aside I just do not like the way it would look.  Reminds me of that one animation style where characters and backgrounds are painted with moving textures instead of colors.

On the bright side you could make some very effective camouflage this way or take advantage of a few optical illusions.
