Actually no Gold Boxes are dropping in my battle.

I have been playing since morning.

I know you say that you did not change the chances of gold falling, and I will accept the fact that you did not do it intentionally. But during the 5k gold boxes, I played and the battles I played in got a total fund of 70k. Only one gold box dropped in that whole time. Seeing as this happens every time you increase the gold boxes' values, This cannot be just my bad luck. I know you did not mean to change the chances of a gold box dropping. But maybe there's something wrong with your code that makes 5k gold boxes drop 5 times less. It could be that the game still calculates the chance of a normal gold box's value to fall at 1/7000 per crystal in the fund. So maybe the chance becomes 5x less due to the value being 5x more, cue to the fact that the game "thinks" that 5 normal gold boxes would fall during that time, so it just lumps them together into the 5k gold box that is dropping. 

I don't know if you were able to understand what I meant, but if you did, could you please look into this problem, and figure out if there is something wrong with the code. The gold boxes always fall less often (for me at least) when they have increased values, so if you would please examine this problem, it would make me very happy indeed :)

About the Lamest idea Tanki has come up with yet as a reward for their players loyalty, the Gold hunter is a scurge of Tanki, Account sharing, unsporting, and generally person/s with no respect for teamplay.

It is appalling to condone this type of player, and even reward such behavior in fact.

The quality of gameplay is going down the toilet.

I agree. Gold hunting only invites people who join teams and sit there doing nothing for the sole purpose of trying to grab a drop. I am sick and tired of 3 or 4 people on CTF doing nothing other than waiting for gold to drop then suddenly moving their tanks for that purpose only.

Agreed 1000%. Too many times I've seen my team half filled with tanks that only sit and spam "gold plz admin" and hardly contributed not even a couple shots against the enemy, while they bombarded us. Funny, when the gold falls, there are 20 tanks surrounding it, but during regular gameplay, I see only two or three on my team at most. I'm tired of trying to be the one-person army for what is essentially a team of mults. With the gold box value rising, so will be the number of gold hunters (read: battle ruiners). I hope something is done about this soon, no matter how drastic, because obviously I'm starting to lose faith.

i got 2 types of gold boxes today, 1 of 5k and the next one of 6k :) total: 11k earned from gold boxes + funds = about 16k

Okay, on my main acc @craeee, I be a gold hunter sometimes. But I play, cause multing won't make the fund grow higher, and this makes gold fall less. Plus, it is very rude to mult too. I wish gold hunters were like me, and understood that playing would make everyone happy! Like I played a battle, caught 6k gold, AND was the topper on the winning, team, making the team win after switching from enemy team (which was winning and I was at the top before i left)

I don't understand why these guys say golds are not seen

Though they are dropping less compared to the regular 1k golds but I think their dropping rate is perfect

You are right. I just came back from a 60 minute Polygon CP full teams 8v8 and not even 1 box dropped during the whole match...

Usually 3 boxes drop during such matches.

i can bet they didn't lower the chances.

in a 15 min polygon cp 3 6k golds dropped.

 

and then straight for 3 hrs none.

Don't worry; goldbox value won't affect the chance of dropping. This has been said before.

Gold boxes need to be more common for ranks around mine. I've played a lot (8+ hours) yesterday and all day today and I only saw 3 gold boxes total today and yesterday. Can some of the higher ranks tell me what makes a gold box drop? I heard that the battle fund has to over 1000 for it to drop, I also heard that it drops more commonly on bigger maps but I heard these a while ago so they might be outdated.
