A hypothesis about gold boxes

I wrote it here iinstead of gold box discuss because on gold box discuss they just post their boxes.

 

Okay, I won't write much, I just want to get an help about this topic:

I think I've found something.

If a gold box fall because of you kill someone or someone killed you(as a fund increase and 1/7000 chance) gold box fall to somewhere you can catch more easily than other players.

That was the theory when Golds fell in crystal drop zones. Now I'm not sure, haven't payed attention to it if I'm honest.

I don't see why this would be true. Why would the developers spend time creating such a complicated system of detecting which player triggered the gold to drop and where they are located and which is the nearest available gold box location for their convenience? Such a system wouldn't be worth the effort, because even if the gold drops next to you, there is still not a very high chance that you will catch it.

 

In fact, Once I was playing a duel with one guy and a gold box dropped after I killed him. The drop location was on the other side of the map, so yeah - this is false.

A farm CTF battle

I was on blue side with my mammoth-twins

My opponent was a mammoth-shaft behind the wall which is on left from my base.

I went there and killed him.

Gold box has fallen the back on me, 3 meters away.

Also, he spawned 10 meters away
