I wished mine was still around to tell her I love her and miss her now for almost 8 years

your not the only one who has no parents alive today but you can celebrate by taking some flowers to a nursing home for those who never had children it would mean a lot to them..

and as a mom i enjoy every day ..mothers day is just that a day.. but to me everyday is more special.. to see the nurturing and love you bestowed on to your own children as they grow ..time goes by fast so treasure each minute you can have with a love one ..

all the best to the mum`s or mom`s or grandmother`s or granny`s ...also aunts or single dads, grand fathers  you are also a mom doing two jobs,, raising children .enjoy

In the arab world it's on the 21st of march but it seems countries have there own different days for it.

Happy mother's day

False.

Most Arabic countries don't celebrate such days and it not official in almost all of them, some small minorities do, but don't globalise it please, i myself don't need a day to remind my mother how much she means to me, infact it everyday for me and most Arabs, same goes for my father, sisters and brothers...etc

Yes we don't need this day to remind us of how great our mother's are .. however this day exists in the whole arab world

On the date i mentioned and in-fact huge sales for home appliances happen the week before it for mother gifts.

Either you don't understand Arabic or you are very bad at looking for sources and that site no longer allow mothers day articles due to the problems they got into because of it, look at the date at that article, read please then see what was the responds to the mothers day in Saudi Arabia, again stop globalising please, you celebrating dosen't mean Arabs are, i just clearly stated that, further discussion can be contiuned in PM.

No i don't understand arabic   ... i only lived in egypt for the past 26 yrs and was born here and i

belong to the banu hashem tribe  :D I think you should get outside of your own shell and look around

.. mothers day is celebrated around the whole Arab world and it's a very important sales season too.

And al arabiya being censored for writing it's article proves my point even more.
