I wish you return old gold boxes mode
in 2012 gold box was dropping when the battle fund reach 700
now please make it like before
remove the " Gold box will be dropped soon " and make the gold drops depends to battle fund
like this old picture

• First of all, if this idea were to be in place, it would need to drop every 7,000 crystals in the fund rather than 700. That picture is too old, as Battlefunds and all crystal statistics have since been multiplied by ten.

The old way the battlefund system worked is a lot different than it is now, due to the removal of crystals boxes. If the Goldbox dropped every 1/7000, this would be "overpowered". Now that the crystals that would have dropped have been added to the battle-fund, the probability of a goldbox dropping has been changed to 1/10,000 (despite what the wiki says). Keep in mind, the Goldbox still drops more than it did when Crystal boxes dropped. So for this idea to work, it would need to drop each time the battlefund reached 10K, 20K, 30K, and etc.

There were many reasons behind the update the made the Goldbox drop randomly. Low-ranking battles rarely reached 7,000 fund and almost never saw Goldboxes dropping. The current way the Goldbox drops is much better, as in all battles the Goldbox can drop, regardless of the battlefund.

The main reason why the gold box drop mechanics were changed is because the old system had two main problems:

1. Experienced players would seek out battles with the gold box dropping soon, enter them with their superior equipment and use their skills to take the gold box from less skilled players, leaving newbies with little or no chance to experience this bonus.
2. The same experienced players would enter battles close to 700 fund (or equivalent) and simply stay on pause until the gold box was about to drop. They would then proceed to position themselves under the gold and wait until it drops. During these 5-10 minutes they completely ignored the game itself and were basically mults - sabotaging their own team.

The change of the gold drop system to random fund values removed the "gold hunters" and made it fair for players, who put in the effort of continuously playing in a battle to make the gold box drop.

 

I will keep this topic open for a couple days, but do keep in mind that the old system as we know it will not be back.

They currently have more than enough ideas in their bucket list, which will be added to this version of the game + there's the whole Unity project that they are trying to finish ASAP. New updates take a long time to develop and reading the forum to get new ideas will only create more setbacks.

Its not that developers don't listen to players, it's the fact by which the developers have realized the crystal boxes, and gold boxes were creating problems. Furthermore, as developers or mediators it is their job to fix issues that arise in the game, and make it more enjoyable for each and every player.

it's fine now, i personally don't need the old gold dropping system but maybe you do need that so you can enter a battle when it about to fall.

i think the whole gold hunter thing should be removed from the game for once and for all, and make a new weekly contest like "best scorer of the week" or " best player of the week" so a good skilled player can win that 40k.

played couple of times with you and russian (I suppose) version of you  (portes_s) on poly CP..you both play the same way..park your dictators far from battle spots and stay inactive 90% of the battle,moving tanks occasionally,just to stay in battle,you only "come to life" when GB allarm is triggered..in game,you are mostly saboteurs,and that what you propose,would only make things worst for normal players,because gold hunters would be back,like in old days.. This is not gonna benifit anyone, and will only leave with more mults. Its pretty clear why you are saying this. So that you can catch more gold boxes and make more videos, in return for more fame. Stop thinking about only yourself, and think about the game balance for once
