Manual [Surrender] button for loosing team

Yes, it's better to loose 4:8 instead of 4:10. Especially in those pro battles with no time limit the enemies tend to get the last flag and wait with it in their base.. and while they do not deliver it they kill and kill and kill to drive the remaining players of the loosing team out of the battle.

 

Surrender would be an option for that scenarios

You know those battles you have no chances of winning? Maybe you were at the start and have 1000 exp in the battle but then it turns around and your team becomes helpless? Well, when you press the "X" button to leave the battle, there should be a surrender button, too. This button, when pressed, kicks you out of the battle and takes away ALL exp made in that battle.

 

This way you dont leave with 1000 exp and little crystal reward. This way, you lose nothing and you don't have to get totally R3KT!

The problem is that anyone who is losing will surrender and there will be little reward for the winning team, all a wasted time.

 

A better idea would be that if you surrender you will be removed of battle and the system will save your progress, and when the battle ends the system will give you the rewards as if you lost even if your team managed to make a comeback. If all player in the losing team surrender, then the battles ends and everyone get rewards.

 

They should also remove the option to turn off Autobalance and Autocompletion from non format PRO Battles. Instead there should be a new format that lasts no more than 60 minutes where you can have those options. Parkour and Clans should always have those options.

 ..but the time they spent in the battle is also way shorter. So they waste less time.

Overall this feature distributes the fund more fair, as the final rip off tactics (lets hold the last flag until all leave) are efficiently countered by that feature.

 

The winners can play even more winning battles if they like, as loosers soon learn to go on pause and endure that "rip off tactics" on pause. Those situations are soo boring.. and they will all be fixed.

Good point, but it is similar to the other idea then, where you leave and is as if nothing happened.

Nice idea but i think that it would be some complications.for example if there are all noob players in team except one pro player.so all the member want to surrender and if that pro player do not want to surrender then what is gone to happen in that case?

I think this was already answered.. the pro will have no chance to win with a noob team.. so all he does there is wasting time.

It would be way better for him too, if the noobs surrender in time.

 

In fact, I think the pro player has a good eye on judging players and judging his chances in that battle.. and will hit the surrender button first :p

every has is own point but i not a pro player and nor noob player.i think tat one should not surrender ,he should fight till end and thats the real pro player.

it's a fair opinion. I do not share it, but I respect it.

 

You might start to see the world a bit different after you spend a 1000 more hours in the game.. but it's completely up to you.

Which idea do you mean?

Sliced's idea, where if you are losing, you surrender and as if nothing has happened. If that is ever implemented I'd surrender every single time I'm losing, because everyone will be doing the same.

"as if nothing has happened" sounds like you gain no xp and no crystals.. but the other one does. Hmm.. sounds like a waste of time for me. But ok, it keeps the crystal/xp ratio up.

 

This idea here let you take your share of crystals, before half your team leaves and you get stomped completely, in a battle without time limit.

I remember making a topic like this a while ago back before I quit the game (well now I kind of am playing it again). 

People either hated my idea or loved it. I can't find it anymore so I decided to completely change the system to make everyone happy. 

 

Generalized Overall Concept - If at least more than 40% of your team decides to click the surrender button, the game is over.

 

Purpose - When you are playing those battles where the winning team refuses to cap and start spawn killing people on your team after you have invested so much time and effort in that battle. You can leave without people doing that while getting your crystals. 

 

When You Can Surrender -

1. The opposing team is outscoring your team by 2 times. 

2. At least more than 40% of team agree to surrender (by clicking some button)

3. Each of the voters must have at least 20% of first place on your team's score. If you have less than 10% of first place on your team's score, you are not allowed to vote. (So if [user: sensei_tanker] has 5000 points and [user: Tanker_Sensei] has 999 points than [user: Tanker_Sensei] cannot vote to surrender. Btw, [user: Tanker_Sense]i is NOT my alt)

4. [OPTIONAL DEVS CHOICE] Gold Box not in play

 

Why these rules? -

1. Mults cannot vote to surrender at all 

2. Surrender Button cannot be used for trolling purposes at all 

3. Why 40%? Well, as you can see through overdrives and turret turning, which many legends don't seem to know how to do, many players will also probably be oblivious to the surrender button. So instead of having more than 50%, I lowered it to more than 40%. Plus, if you are losing by twice the score of the opponent, most players are already looking to surrender.

I  :wub:  your idea. There's another problem that wasn't addressed, unless I missed it. Some players are in it for the XP and not really focused on the object of the battle. They don't really care about the crystals, so being on a losing team is no big deal. Those are the ones who will give you more opposition.

i'm with the general idea, but i think a better option is just to remove the option to disable the auto finish (especialy in pro battle CTF) since the only bad battles we desperatly need a "surrender" button for it are CTF flags with no auto finish.

or better idea if its disabled, it will actually take effect in these last flag at base for 10 minutes for example

 

oh wait even better !!! if no one capped flag for 10 minutes 

1) if its 1 flag to end (except 1 flag game) battle ends

2) if flag holders camp then both flags are returned ( counts from latest flag taken)

 

its to encourage spawnkillers to either cap or lose some percent of reward because of lesser score

What about a cancel surrender? Sometimes its 2v5 but the other team sucks and my teammate and I still end up on top...

Taking back your vote to surrender (i.e. if the battle picks up pace again) was already part of the original proposal:

 

Surrender - Button (on/off)

 

Each time you click the surrender button, it will be toggeled:

from [ fight! ] -to-> [ surrender ];         or       from  [ surrender ] -back-to-> [ fight! ]

The numbers display how many of your team are willing to surrender at the moment:

Hi, as much as i would love this option im not sure as people could purposely lose just to get crystals maybe? idk just an idea, but yes i wouldn't mind seeing soothing like this

Agreed and also have a penalty to the crystals they get for the last person holding the flag too.
